Change the plugs.

Pull the drum off and clean it out, will be excess dust in there.

Take it somewhere if you are worried about it as there is more to it then just tightening it up.

If the diff flange is moving 1 - 1.5 then it is just diff backlash which is adjustable to an extent, if the previous owner did the UJ's then there is a good chance that he put the flanges back on 180 out which will most of the time cause a vibration.

I have a 92 haro sport that I would love to get back together since it has been apart for the last 10 years, found a shop in the UK that still sells parts from that era so hopefully one day I can ride it again.

Get onto it with a hair dryer and then some cool spray, normally will bring a dent like that out.

Well the ecu power fuse on the ae82 is the brake light fuse in the kick panel, have a look and see if there are any blown in there.

Well it isn't as easy as it sounds to be able to drive and video tape it while it is sitting on the floor, I will get some pics of it so you can get a fair idea of how it works and will get a vid if it is in the car with someone else driving.

As Ian clarified: C, CS, CSX & Twincam, as I said above, the CSX is the single cam version of the twincam, power steer and air were factory options. csx interior and tacho dash was standard.

ok, thought you meant you had one lined up, if you buy a complete engine then you 'should' only have to do the cooling system and mounts. Reason I asked about the pump is it will most likely be boost referenced where as the 1c pump will not.

Have not forgotten about this, have a car that I am currently doing an RWI on (road worthy inspection, then it gets sent off and gets looked at again for road worthy certificate, this may sound weird but saves spending twice the amount on a rwc if it fails.) so when I take it for a test drive in the next day or 2 I will throw the meter in.

Hey mate, was fairly flat out today so I managed to get 1 pic while doing the job so if you want I can post that up with a step by step guide of how I did it, be prepared as it will take you the best part of a day.

If both engines have the same external setups then it will be a simple change over as the block is the same height, do you have the injectors and pump for the 2ct?

Dunno what pressure mine is getting as my fuel regulator and return is before the carb so I am using a single fuel line on the carby, also check the timing on it when you are playing around with it next.
