  1. Is the 15 minutes 1/4 mile run with a fully worked 3K running a nitro/supercharged dipstick, and a ported/polished chrome plated rocker cover? I did hear that if the heater fan is put into turbo-reversed forward drive setting, you could get it down to 14 minutes and 60 seconds. Food for thought.
  2. I have somewhere an old Wheels write up for the TE 37 somewhere. Looking a m newly installed bookshelf, I found an intereurope Workshop manual 146 - Toyota Corolla 1100, 1200, 1400, 1600 manual ; A Haynes Toyota Corolla manual for 1967 to 1974 :, A Gregorys Corolla Manual as well. Nothing exciting about that, but I did find a Toyota Motor Sales for Toyota Corolla repair manual KE7_, TE7_ Aug.1979 Chassis, A Green T series Engine Repair manual, Jun 1976 and a chassis/Body books for Corolla and Trueno 30 series. I don't have a scanner as of yet, but if someone needs anything out of them, I can see what I can do. Cheers Morgs
  3. Wrong type of tape. Bit of racetape and she'll be right mate.
  4. Brilliantly done. Both tracks are great, but do have to say, Induction noise was always music to my ears
  5. Well, you could build one up with the mazda rims, and another with the enki's
  6. Sir I envy you and your beautiful vehicle, and congratulate you. Nice work :)
  7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36wz35rBFw8 Yes, it does look good but i have a soft spot for this little beastie. Shame i had to sell mine. SHould have gotten rid of the first wife instead.
  8. That is the same Corolla TE37. Alexandra bought it and raced it, from speaking to her father many years ago. I had that shell for a while, till i sold it. I think it was in a roll over, because it had "Liverpool" written in chalk on the inside of the roof, as the shell had no rooflining when i got it. Alexandra's dad still had bit of a race prepped 2TG then, don't know if he still has it tho. From what i gathered, the 37 was brought in by Ling Gowan Toyota, Tasmania, and was the 37 they did an article in Wheels or Modern Motor in 74/75? I kick myself every now and then that i sold that shell, let alone smashed my 27. Ah, youth, wasted on the young.
  9. Mark Thatcher, son of Margaret Thatcher raced a TE 37 at Bathurst but from memory, oil problems dropped it out of the race. I used to have the body shell for a few months and have a photo copy of the Cams paper work somewhere. don't remember any 25's in Bathurst tho. TE27's - i heard a story 12 were imported to Australia in the 70's. I know at least one 37 was imported. Have the Wheels/Motor magazine with the article about it.I used to own a 27. Rumor was it was the Melbourne motor show 27 but i could not confirm it. It now lives out Penrith way.
  10. DROOL!!!! Please send it my way, and i guarantee to pamper it with TLC :(. How come other people can find 25's and i never see one
  11. http://www.toymods.org.au/site/ Here you go mate
  12. Steve HATES me with a passion. Had money, wanted a KE25. None about. No money, see a few gems around. Now i have no money, and no KE25's around for me to dream about. So tempted to sell all my other hobby stuff just to raise the cash for there to be NO corollas i like for sale, then blow the cash on the house instead :(
  13. The only pic i have of my baby before i got married. Yeah, i know, does not fit in, as it is a TE, not a KE. From memory, Stock 2TG with sequential Mikuni carbs, 5 speed, with non original front flares, non original interior and mixed rims. Was fun to drive, wish i had it back again.
  14. Nice 25 Mate :0 Reminds me of my first strolla - Mazda Rx4 rims, a Ken Lang 4K with twins and a 1 and 3/4 inch exhaust. Same color - Bamboo Yellow, or as my sister used to say, Baby crap yellow. Looking forward to seeing more :)
  15. Well, just my 2 cents worth...... Something like your Gem, i wouldnt go 4AGE, but 3TGTE with a manual box. Yep, old school donk, but maybe less hassles than a 4 AGE Turbo. "Yes Constable Plod, it IS the original motor sir. See? The numbers match :o " Just my opinion, but then again, this is from a previous owner of 16+ corollas including a TE27.
