castor rod. yeah ae71, t-18 (have to cut off the lock stops) ae86..... corona lca's fit, they are slightly longer and will give you about 2 degrees of camber.. but ke70 are a dime a dossen

best to put stands onder it makes it a little more stable..

yeah, worst case you buy XT130 only shocks and you have to use the rona top hats you may just have to redrill the holes... and giave your self a little more camber :party:

you could also remove it and clean the tanke of all the fuel and weld the hole. you would have to make sure it was fair clean of fuel before you did this for the obvious reson of combusion ie death

find out what the insert is interchange able with. check some part numbers because if its the same as 86 struts than you have a very large choice

i have a ke70/ae71 fuel tank, wouldnt have a clue if they are the same but if you think it will fit then give me a bell ASAP getting parts from it wednesday and will be in launceston so i can meet you later in the week.

4k where its at.. lol these a reson they are free.... push rod = loose.. oh and james, my reliable budget n/a 4ac will out perform a budget 4k tubro setup :D responce, toque, reliablitiy... all the things that really matter, i can't stand having to swap motors all the time so I'm making on that i wont have to change :) more than to have a run against anyone, 4kc or otherwise. would be fun to drive against someone again, even if they are much quicker, gives me somehting to aim for.

dude, you could put a 2tc or 2tg in or 3tc/2tg hybrid.. think baout it alot better and reasyer options... t series k series and a series motors all bolt in! as do the box's and tailshafts with very minimum that would have to be spend on custom parts and hours of labor. the money you save on the engine conversion you could be spending getting power for of the motor that just 'bolted in' be smart go with toyota or buy a datsun for your datsun motor..

absolutely... i think i would get whiped by a turbo one on symmonds (due to my car being standard and symmonds being 2 drag strips) but on the hill is maybe very diffrent indeed :D when i get my motor built (after susy and brakes) it will be a resonably quick car even in a srait line... in the mean time there maybe a t motor with a snail not too far away. could be a possible demo/thrash bus will have to see how it pans out.

yeah maybe johhny :D when you have a desent motor like a 4ag to play with i don't know why would would want anything else.....???????? your not going the turbo 4k are you? seen you where selling your turbo stuff a while ago..

true^^ but just think if you detuned the motor slightly, only revved it to 10,000 you may get quite a few more hours out of it. also running at that sort of RPM for the duration of a race must cause alot of heat. the pistons probaly melt rather than wear...

hahahah, yeah i agree with the bouve comments. for such a highly developled motor this is pittens, just look at some of the V8 boys and there drag motors, they spend 50k+ some of the serious ones and i bet you they arnt build to the limit as these motors are. just pitty about there life spand :D

i wouldnt have a clue on how well they are made, but that seems a very good price to me for new ones.

i had a problem with the idel with mine aswell on a 4ac. it was tuned too rich and would idel like it was a 13b bridgeport. and wouldn't run well until it had a few revs on it. it also chugged abit of black smoke too. all good with a bit of a tune.
