iv had a welded diff, in a mk1 escort with sidies etc i will NEVER use a locked diff again they suck. really suck if you need to use it on the road

iv seen plenty of 4wd cars do drifts on seal. they are called WRC cars :)

bit of a drive for me! and the car id use isnt ready yet. if you drive at levels watch out for the ripple strips through the esses onto the front straight.... they are violent! :) i beleive its a track day with sprints etc. not a drift demo day

ah the old leaky 4age dizzy trick.... its either the oring around the shaft into the head. or the seal inside the dizzy. if its the later.... new dizzy time. unless you manages to get it apart and can find a seal that fits. non servicable part according to toyota

even on a road car don't do it.... think how many times youv worked on ya car and found stones in weird places.... one little stone and good bye cambelt.

yeah... was a worrying we time for me. my cousin ans sister are both there at the moment. cuz lives very close to that area, and at least 2 of the stations are on the line she takes..... found out they were ok at 1am our time. bastard terrorists :n: -
but no more.... so will have to see how long they live for..... in 2 months in japan they lost 55% of there passenger vehicle sales...... they were investigated and it was found there was more than 20 cases where they covered up what should have been a safty related recall.....

if your fitting an aftermarket ecu to a rwd 20v, just do away with the dizzy and use a crabk angle sensor. yes 20v head fits other a series, like 5a and 7afe. even 2a

um no..... silvertop is 43mm and b/t 45mm

theres a perfect place for getting a map sensor reading. the b/t is map...... on the silvertop that kidney shaped fuel rail looking thing isnt a fuel rail. its a vacuum balance chamber.... just right for map reading :thumbsup:

the difference between the face lift s/t and pre face lift is easy to see in that article. they mention it, look at the face that meets the head. b/t are different again. bigger. can't remember the exact size but i have it somewhere. that price before included freight and my take! i have to make SOME $$$ :thumbsup:

i reckon i can supply manifold and 20v TBs for $800ish nz all up landed in oz. maybe less. theres a few places over that makes the manifold needed. 2nd TBs can be had for anywhere form $100 to $250 here

its not called a 7afte, casue the turbos were added by TMCA after the cars were built. while doing that you could go one step further: 20v head, 4agze pistons..... theres an easy 250hp, and the torque.... i imagne the would have cost a bit, take a topline corolla, add a 5k turbo kit and other extras, add profit margin.......

mitsis are well knowen for being the WORST jap brand. they were GOOD in the 80s. in the 90s, they sucked badly. theres a reason why they are bust and looking like being non exsistant in about 2 years....
