  1. yep. tak your family on a holiday to where it is located, and bring it back in peices in your luggage!
  2. I coudl never really get into anime....except for initial D. first or 2nd year uni i got right into initial D, watched episode after episode, mainly because it was a show about cars, and i like cars. and the animation in the later episodes (later at the time...prolly old now) was pretty good, glowing brake discs etc, was good to watch. ive watched a few other anime movies over the years (cowboy beepop? and i think final fantasy ones) but thats it...
  3. yeah wrong bush, take it back. you want this: http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=SPF0509K that thing sais "use original shell" not sure what that means. but it comes with 2x bushings and 2x inner tubes. you don't appear to have the inner tubes. also it should be VERY tight, like....need a press to get it in and out tight.
  4. link to base adjustable ae86 coilovers? also agreed with groundinging down KYB base, there is a possibility you might be able to grind it down just enough to make it work.. also make sure you have the correct cland nuts, i had to get mine machined i think, so the shock sat right up high in them.
  5. ah yeah i belive you need the rears? you buy fronts? actually 360 was the speicified length for the rears...... xt130 shock tubes exact same length as ae86? perhaps they are ~10mm shorter? perhaps in heinsight it would have been better to cut up the tubes once you bought the shocks :(
  6. no worries, did that, can't find a plain coloured one atm but check this out! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tomica-Limited-Vintage-NEO-LV-N27a-TOYOTA-COROLLA-1500-1-64-TOMY-TOMYTEC-/320738525829?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item4aad818285 police car! 1:64 is a bit small though for 28bucks...
  7. got a link per chance? plenty of corolla models. how cool is this. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Corolla-1966-Model-Norev-1-43-/180782770753?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item2a177e2a41
  8. where on earth did you get that ke70 match box car?! man i want one of those.
  9. you would hope that the EFI system could keep up with any changes caused by a ram effect though. the easiest way to improve on your setup, would be to cut a dirty great big hole in the airbox, attach a large peice of flexible water pipe from bunnings to this, and run it to where it can grab cold air. pod filters have the advantage of having a much larger surface area to suck in air, so that might be an option, but yeah have to do something simliar to what hiro has done. Thats a pretty funky looking alloy pipe you got there hiro.
  10. i doubt it, but you could cross reference the superpro catalogue and the DBA/RBA catalogue. i guess you will have a good chance with the bushes, but no chance with the discs. why not just order bushes for your corona from repco etc?
  11. wheels are too big on those bmws. and the guards arent fat enough, like so.
  12. but on the other hand it may cost you significantly mroe again to rebuild an engine that you just paid 750bucks for! id be inclined to buy it too, take the risk that its a good runner. what engine we talking about here? 20V? I'm not sure i belive 100,000kms on a ~20yr old engine.
  13. thats a cool song. how a bit of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W6hBI1SAL4
  14. you could dig through "nice products" catalogue. they have wheel studs, so you just need to find something a tad smaller to suit camber plates. do you know what size hole you have to fill?
  15. People who insist on holding up a mobile phone at a concert the entire time. i went to incubus concert last week. how i watched the concert: How at least 50% of the audience watched the concert: Now i ask these people, what are you going to do with that distorted sound, shaky immage, low quality peice of recording that you filmed? how about enjoying the concert while you are there as opposed to holding up a camera infront of someone elses view the entire time!
  16. does the wine change depening on what direction you are turning? if its an axel bearing, when you load and unload the rear wheels (turning the car) the noise will change from either gone completely, or very very loud...and it will be independant of load on the driveline. if this is the case, axel bearings can be bought from anywhere, but you need a press to get them on and off the axel. best bet is to remove the axels, drive down to your local mechanic with bearings in hand, and get htem to swap them. if the whine is a constant whine, independant of driveline load, and independat of turning (load on wheels from turning), it will most likely be bearings in diff centre carrier, i belive you can DIY these. but ive never done it. and i think its a bit trickier with having to set shims etc. if howeever the whine is completely dependant on drive line load (ie shuts up between gear changes and load on the wheels (turning), then perhaps you are looking at problems with the diff gears themselvs, or possibly the pinion bearing. i have no experience here, i woudl be inclined to find another diff that hopefully was in better condition. diff gears are very expenisve (compared to a 2nd hand idff), thats if you can get them.
  17. i was going to have a dig at that stupid intercooler sitting there, and why it wasnt mounted inboard.untill i realised how thick it was. that intercooler that has to be a good 150-200 mm thick?!?! Not to mention the already limited real estate for the radiator. nice car though.
  18. where is it...?
  19. how about a "vew new content" button on the mobile site? that is all i really do when i go to rollaclub, instantly click that view new content button.
  20. you used to google "french military victories" and it woudl come up with "did you mean french military defeats" not sure what happened to that though.
  21. Vipec eh. I'll have to read about them, they seem to be getting popular. Oh and I regards to ms3, latest result in my mates road tuned 12a turbo on e85 is 11.82 @124mph. Loads of development though.
  22. haha nice photo carlos! ---- epic job on the weight loss up there 'ke ping it real' I'm not exactly fat, but i am getting fatter rather than thinner! as evidence of my suit pants only just fitting...where htey used to be quite comfy. This desk job stuff certainly isnt helping.
  23. I have actually been to the super bee. click me
  24. perhaps a location? i assume you have rung all the guys in the yellow pages? gotta get that phone out mate. here is one http://melbourne.yalwa.com.au/ID_102063267/Allrace-Fabrications.html http://www.truelocal.com.au/business/msk-race-cars-and-hot-rods/preston another one. id give them a call, and if they can't help you no doubt they can point you in the right direction.
  25. yeah i woudl be curious as to how you know it leans out? also i know its the gineric answer, but have you double checked the ignition timing? and make sure the advance is working? in my experience anything funny with the ign timing and the engine can run fine but feel very doughy with quick throttle changes.
