The pump will fit through the hole from memory, but you still wont have baffles inside, unless you want to open it up, or copy Beerheads idea and fit a commodoore intank pump and baffle setup that drops in from the top. Like I said you want atank from an Rt142 Corona or JDM AE86. You can do under car surge tanks.

Mate VLs have 2 pumps, a lift pump and an external pump. Most people replicate that system with the lift pump filling a surge tank and then the high pressure pump feeding and returning to that. In tank pumps require a baffled fuel tank from an efi car, you have limited options for this, youd need an ae86 fuel tank from japan or an RT142 corona tank with a couple of mods. Or you can mod a ke70 tank to have a swirl pot inside and a bigger opening.

All of which hampers your actual ability to steer and handle a car with precision. Don't get too caught up with fitting into a scene, just drive the damn car, and do mods that you have developed a need for, not just what everyone else does. If I bought this car, Id just get rid of the purple from the interior, put on normal bumpers, lights and grill, some nice 15s and then put good suspension into it, maybe even raise it an inch. That would get the suspension actually working. You should do some googling and reading about suspension ideas such as droop, rebound, compression, camber, caster, and toe. This is how you do a 20 valve cooling system. If I were you Id rework it as although this system you have used makes the best replication of the toyota fwd cooling system, its dog ugly and for the benefit you would get from keeping the cooling completely original, its just not worth it. You can simplify it down to just 4 hose clamps.

Yeah they look good eh. I forgot to mention, I bought enough peak white to do the front end and engine bay today. Actual paint too, not pressure packs. I also got a new oil pressure sender for $2 from supershit. Theres a $20 k series clutch kit there. The other week i also finally bought a set of velocity stacks for the 20 valve. I'm just waiting on a part from samq and some powdercoated bits and I can do the engine swap. The 4ac is improving each day, if it had a rekitted carb itd go pretty good. Ill probably swap radiators soon, this ones got a hole, its been sealed but not too well. :wink:

yes. Its value is capped at 5000 dollars. Thats usually a good start at rebuilding if you claim salvage rights as well, provided that you can use some of whats found, if anything. The key is to go and show them the car once in a while as your building it, so that they can list all the extra work you have done and see the condition of it all.

Hmmm, I think here theyd want to steal that stuff more than the Corolla. Well, I just insured it, so I'm a little more at ease. Just 3rd party, fire and theft insurance. Then youd be looking for 4x100. These things are pretty damn light, and this style is also poular amongst fwd people. Its called SSR MK2r. Clears modern 4 piston brakes and honestly probably weighs under 7kg for a 15x7.

Whats available will depend on your stud pattern. So what type of car do you have. If its a fwd rolla youd be looking for 4x100. If its rwd probably 4x114.3 or 4x110. So whatchya got?

Go to a radiator shop and have it recored, that will cost around $275. Or you could take it to them and if the hole isnt a big issue they might just braise it shut. Id steer clear of adding any stop leak shit unless you were stuck on the side of the road somewhere.
