Its silicon sealant gasket maker shit that you use on water fittings, diffs etc. Buy it from any auto parts store.

Just seal it up with a tiny bit of blue max. I find a good soak in napisan works wonders for the bottles. I scrubbed mine out with a rag on a stick.

Maybe somethings porous. Is the head made of clay?

Sounds like our weekly bad ground connections thread. If you just painted the bay, the thread and area around the grounds will be painted. Remove the grounds straps and sand back to bare metal under them, then redo the bolts up nice and tight. The way to check is you will have a reduced voltage at the starter, probably below 10 volts. Use a multimeter to test the trigger wire on it.

Hayashi Racing Yayoi / Sakura

At somewhere around a grand a wheel, you could afford to reroll them 5 times a wheel. I love them though for sure. Wish they came in 15s. -

And bear in mind, those are prices per wheel. -
Try using Firefox instead of internet Explorer. It blocks spam and popups better and it has a spell check. With the cam issue, rev its tits off, or get a standard cam.

The reason behind this is the way the Howard government changed all the legislation so that it was anti competitive. Woolworths are just existing under the environment that they've been handed. At this point in time its heavily slanted in their favor.

What happens if you prang it and need a gaurd?

Stick with it, its worth it in the end. I had a lot of friends drop out only to realise they needed the grades to do anything they wanted to do. Not cool to be 3 years older than everyone else in your class, and still struggling to pass. Get it done, its worth it. :D

That just means you've tried too hard to end the recession already, well done.

Ive said it before, Ill say it again. Just because you have a motor lying around, is no reason to put it into a corolla. The v6 is the smarter option, compared to the straight six. f you use a 3.8 v6 its now perfectly legal for road use if you upgrade everything else, and are willing to go through engineering, thanks to the new national code of practice. With that said, I don't believe its a good plan. If your doing motorkhanas, rallys and whatnot, Id be doing the SR20 thing. I think it would cost less than a straight six ford conversion. I don't particularly like the SR, but lets face it, the KE corolla series is meant to have an inline 4. That's what its designed for. The SR20 is a motor with a proven history of making good power and being tunable. Performance parts and upgrades are as cheap as chips. There's probably 20 of them on here at least so theres a lot of knowledge already out there. Sell the ford motor and get a dirty Nissan. I cannot believe I just said get a Nissan motor. I'm going to bed...

Oh my god don't people like to make inferences. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a drug lord. Ive never taken a chemical drug and that includes DMT, and I don't plan to. I do reserve the right to make my own choices, read what I want to read, learn as much as I can, and stay open minded about things. That is my point. Lexi, your rebuttal to my initial comments made at least 4 references to your friends only doing it to be cool. That is why I went after it. My rant is more a philosophical one, about the direction society is heading. You have grown up in a world where anything remotely fun, dangerous, risky, or entertaining is banned by the bleeding heart majority to protect us from ourselves. I resent the implication that I'm too stupid to take care of myself and make my own decisions. I can't blame you for having this fearful mentality, especially at your age, considering this is what you have grown up with. Can you tell me off the top of your head who was the PM before John Howard? Anyone with a mind of their own should have the ability to ask questions and form their own philosophy about things. It seems to me you've made the least effort possible to understand your friends and why they do what they do. Just being cool, right? Silly me, thats why we all do anything isn't it? We are all just trying to impress you. Think it through. It may take years. If you don't want smoke in your face, don't go to stoner parties. If you don't want to be exposed to this behavior that obviously upsets you, stay home. That is your choice to make. Make some new friends who you can respect. You can write how you love someone as many times as you want, but it all seems like a lie if you spend the next paragraph talking about all the stuff they do weekly that upsets you, when none of it has any real consequences in your own life, except for those you choose to create for yourself. Accept them for who they are for a change. Sounds like they have enough to deal with without people trying to make them feel bad when they have a little fun. When I think back to what I was doing at 17, you wouldn't want to know. Water finds its own level, eventually. If your friends are going to become junkies in the Morgue, thats their choice, you can tell them how you feel and try to help but you can't force them to accept your point of view. People who are mature for their age tend to be told that by others, not tell people themselves. I have read all your comments. Its pretty cheap to say you love someone then trash their behavior to a bunch of strangers on the internet, repeatedly. Work you issues out with your friends, not Rollaclub. You've been getting more and more behind the only doing it to be cool thing as you've gone along. I put it to you that you are behaving different to them to be cool for a whole different reason. And now your upset because your ill conceived world view contradicts those of others who've been around the block a couple more times. I respect you for making your own choices. Most definitely. I do however, question your reasons. It pays to be open minded about things. How was your DMT hit last night? Have any good dreams? You can have your point of view, I can have mine. I don't care if you don't agree. I have my convictions, and no bleeding heart will change them. Re-read this in 10 years and tell me what you come up with. This is going to be my last post on this topic here. Ive said all I want to say. Ill ask everyone to take it easy on Lexi, please. Make your comments if you have something to say. Please word things appropriately, but don't just blatantly insult people please. Thanks for listening. :bash:

Live it up, Girl. Sleep is overrated!

Lets not forget a complete, good condition AE86 trueno front end is worth around $2000, for all the panels, front bar, lights etc. That's a pretty expensive item to cut up and adapt to a car worth under a grand like a KE70. I'm not saying don't do it. It would look decent I think. I'm just saying be aware of the costs before you get too carried away.
-
Hey Leah, Ive done some looking around, compared the photos of roos lights to ones I have here, if its not the same, its f@$king similar. I think I may be mistaken. Seriously though, a quadlight front will cost around $350-400 in Australia.
-
To do the quad front 100 percent properly, I think you need gaurds, beaver panel, headlight assembly, grill, bumpers, and that thing that aligns it all up the middle. I'm not 100 percent sure, but I seem to remember a few people having problems finding the lenses for the quads. I think they are different but I'm not too sure really, as Ive never had that front end on a car Ive owned. Overseas markets had different lenses too. Yellow ones. Perhaps a member who has some quads lying around can confirm this for you... Send me a pic of the parker lense if you like, and Ill compare it to an adm one I have here. Measurements would be handy in the pic, lie a ruler under it if you can. The adm lights are an even height all the way round the parker, the quads taper up at the bottom and leave a gap in adm gaurds. Easy to patch up though for a perfect fit. You can use your existing beaver panel if you cut it, or just work over it like roo. Even if you bring home adm ones, you wont have an issue shifting them.
-
The jap ones have yellow or orange writing I believe.
-
Bring 4 front ends home, and youd have paid for the holiday. :bash: What more motivation does one need for a cheap overseas holiday? BTW, the parker lenses for quads are damn hard to find here. Bring over a dozen at least if you can find them.
-
What cost $50? The front end? Hook us up! :bash:
