  1. Wasn't a Ducaro a really ordinary tyre from the 90's that also happened to be the control tyre for HQ racing for many years? Edit: Wow, they're still available today......
  2. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=43989 This thread should help. Note: Opinion is my own personal one, and not that of a moderator or on behalf of Rollaclub itself. :D
  3. It seems people need to be reminded that Rollaclub does not and will not endorse, encourage or condone illegal behaviour. Posting pictures or youtube or proof of said activities makes it look like we condone such practices, which we don't. Said items will be removed. And if we're annoyed enough, perpetrators warned. Before anyone says anything, speed limit on major roads in the NT is 130. Carry on.
  4. Pssstt!! Kinglake is one word. For it to be two words, there would need to be a lake, which would be unusual at the top of the mountain. :D Don't forget to wave to where my house used to be.
  5. condition? Price? Location? Contact? Try again. :P
  6. Numerous posts removed by Mods. Perpetrator advised to retract cranium. R
  7. The best place for this would be in the wanted to buy section.
  8. Everybody is entitled to an opinion. If you're going to bring it up, this idiots opinion has been valued enough by two car manufacturers over the years and has done extensive back to back comparisons of various fields of cars. It was great, and gave me a lot of perspective of how vehicles are positioned in the market. Money was ordinary, but a great experience. But you cannot in any amount of seriousness call the Camry/ Aurion a good car when comparing it to any of it's competitors. That happens to be my opinion. That therefore doesn't make me an idiot. FWIW the Mondeo I disliked almost as much, but for different reasons. As far as driving race cars go, I've driven some great ones, and I've driven some dogs. I know which ones are more fun to drive.
  9. Full length.
  10. Not knowing off hand what thickness a standard spring is, I can tell you I've added an 8mm spring into mine, and it's fine.
  11. It funny, I looked at it as a perspective thing. With languages and translation there is often no right or wrong, but what the individual perceives it to be. Maybe I'm just strange. as for drifting, I cannot see anythng that's judged on "style' as being sport. Particularly motorsport. It's entertainment, not sport. Notice I'm not saying anything derogatory about the drivers themselves, as I do hold a couple of them in quite high regard. It takes talent, but it's not sport. Then again, I've been competing in motorsport longer than some on this board have been alive for, so I'm a bit old school.
  12. Do you happen to know where I could buy the afore mentioned pig? My alcohol bill would reduce considerably if I could find one. :fuzz:
  13. I know where Trev is coming from. The uneducated (say..... anyone who thinks drifting is a sport) would believe that hachi roku means eighty six, whereas the actual translation is "eight six". Now, in Toyota's eyes they look at it as A-series, E- Corolla, 8th generation, 6 for..... well whatever they wanted six to mean. Therefore eight and six are still valid. Thus its not a KE twenty five, but a two five. Second generation, 5: fastback/ coupe. I've now thought far too much about this. :fuzz:
  14. PM each other. Don't clog up someone elses thread
  15. Eeeeggggghhhhaaaaa.. No. Tried. Failed. For the love of God, please aquint yourself with the punctuation keys on your computer.
  16. The 1.8 V6 out of the Eunos 30X is a corker of a donk, and would be my choice. But them I'd also prefer to have the whole 30X as well. as long as I NEVER had to change the timing belt. The Aurion has no potental. The ABS system (a feature I'm incredibly fond of, and I describe as one of, if not the best safety feature in the last 100 years) is truly and epically bad. Yes the engine is good, but the nose pops up as soon as you touch the throttle, and goes hunting wombats if you breathe on the brake. The interior is grey and bland, and if you compare it to others in it's class, lacking in any form of grace or elegance. I sorry, but compared to the Aurion, I'd prefer to run around in a Honda Zot. In the nude.
  17. There's is nothing really good about the Aurion. The 380 was a better and nicer car to drive than it. The interior is about as grey as a retirement village, and the handling is as inert as a bucket of argon. Driving one with any amount of prejudice usually has the traction control competing with the stability control to ruin any chance you may have had on trying to control the car and avoiding the scene of your next accident. I've had dumps with better handling characteristics than an Aurion.
  18. Its probably been around the clock once or twice. 20 speedo only go up to 99999.9 and then flip back to 0 again. Not many 20 speedos have KPH on them. Only the later ones. ie: 73 onwards, maybe late 72. Rather sort after as people don't like doing the MPH/KPH calculation thing.
  19. The car would require a blue plate, and you would still not be allowed to drive it on your P's in Qld. Masturbating with a cheese grater is also different, but not recommended. A lot like cramming a V6 into an 82.
  20. Come in here, Dear boy, have a cigar. You're gonna go far,
  21. +1 powder coat.
