they did the best they could with the paint, there's still a few marks, but given the age and it sitting covered in filth, it's 1000% better! the ke10 was sitting outside in the carpark when i went in on wednesday night. they said the crown has pushed it outside, haha. but yes, it does live in the TMCAL warehouses. i'll grab some more pics for you next week if it's still on show dave. are you busy next tuesday morning?? you might get to see it in the flesh if you want.

holy hell, it's been a while since i opened this thread :locked: as some of you may know, the crown has been back to the place it all begain, TMCAL HQ in Port Melb. it was part of their 50 year anniversary of the first Toyota to roll off the production line at the Port Melb factory, which just so happened to line up with the new camry hybrid having started production 50 years after the first one. so they got a few original classic (and some not so classic) AMI built toyota's and put on a bit of a show for some heavy hitters from TMC in Japan. pics are still uploading, so check the post below (soon) for some pics of the evening. dF

hey, it's gonna let me reply this morning....i think this thread was emo yesterday morning and cracked it. i couldn't post anything here :hmm: but anyway, i saw the owner and car at highpoint about 2 years ago. stalked the car for a few mins until i saw the driver, than GTFO quick smart.

it's an employee function hendo, held at the altona plant. and it appears that i'm officially out of sneaking attendance on friday. have just found out there'll only be 2 of us in the office, instead of the usual 4, so no chance at all of getting away :)
