  1. so tell me again, you bought a mac............yet you choose to use a PC for uploading a massif file???
  2. can confirm myself and nobby will be there, again i will be a bit late.
  3. have a look for the VN-V6 swap, using the search function. a red one from Tassie springs to mind, but the username eludes me |blink|
  4. haven't asked if Nobby is coming to this (i assume he will be given his recent acquisition) but i'll be there a bit after 8pm. Tafe has started for the year, and i've got 2 classes, 6-8 and 8-10 on a tuesday. i'm leaving one early and cutting one completely....what a model student
  5. webers, what about the punjab guy and an elephant??? your 82 might turn into a 206, but at least it'll have a little poke then |blink| and as for poke, grandpa has nothing.......
  6. and by one years worth of prep you mean that you prepped them a year ago and only now got around to painting them :jamie: good to see you back on the wagon again Johno :D
  7. OMFG!!! that's awesome.....pure awesome! *saved picture for posterity*
  8. somewhere else??? i'm already taking a detour by meeting at the BP, and i haven't been able to rustle up the MS75 owners number to park with him, so i'll have to settle for the celica guys invite again :)
  9. nothing else to ad....
  10. haha....i spotted 2 Renaults over the weekend and neither of them was parrot. unless he has grown his hair to shoulder length and put curls in it, in either male or female guises :D
  11. i took a whole 12 shots on my camera over the 4 days :) Katie's got some more she'll be putting on facebook. i'll steal them and put them in my album later. for now, the 2 best ones i have.
  12. you not gonna take the mini? and is there no way to get the rest of the fleet down there?? tis only a short drive.
  13. Thanks v much Taz, now that makes my decisions much more complicated :) hehe
  14. yeah, figured you're talking about the steel case W40/50. i'm just worried that my partner won't like using a cable clutch w-box in our ke26. (read: will complain about having a sore clutch leg from using it repeatedly)
  15. Taz, following up on your post... would you rather go a W50 from the early celica/corona, or a W55/7/8 from the later celica/supra/corona??? (don't include having to put in a hydrolic clutch as part of your answer) cheers dF
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQKxfQ26Py8 was just going thru a finnish song list, and saw this cover art.
  17. while they're uploading, i'll give you a quick run down on what you can do to fit a ke30 grill to a ke10. Cut a few inches from it and "plastic weld" it back straight to remove the extra width it has over a 10 front end. Completely remove the front of the 10 and weld on the entire front of a 30 (making sure you remove the extra width of the 30 front end again) and i'm not going to bother about all of the mounting points that need to either be removed or made to accomodate the 30 grill, as i'm sure you've already worked those out. and now the pics.... Centered across the front. Passenger side aligned with the headlight. and showing the different width at the drivers end. now i shall remove myself from this horrid idea.....let us never speak of it AGAIN! dF
  18. you've got PLENTY of time to get the celica finished :hmm: else the pink charade would go well parked next to the Lancia :D
  19. those last two pics are great Matt. *bonnets down* *bonnets up*
  20. i'm still at home, waiting for nobby to come pick up my better half so i can get to picking up our ambassadors from Canada, VIP "Austranese" style... ;)
  21. i might as well ask this now.... i'm gonna need a volunteer driver (and car) on sunday morning. going on a ghosting mission on the way to apollo bay. possible gravel and/or dirt roads. we won't be driving on the GOR between lavers hill and apollo bay. will provide full details to whoever chooses to accept this invitation saturday night. no "backsies-outies" if you put your hand up.... dF
  22. i've used 3 different methods for getting goods from YJP. one is NLA. ImportMonster i'd recommend if the goods are large/heavy (rims, bodykit, engine). don't buy small things (gearknobs/badges) and expect to get them here cheaply. Jesse Streeter is great for smaller, cheaper things. dF
  23. yupyup ;)
  24. Hugh, should be the same meeting place as last time, except maybe a bit closer to the toilet blocks?? and you should be rocking and rolling like this ;) dF
