    Thanks guys, it just feels more dramatic incar, to get it to take of like that i had to let the tyres down to 14psi, maybe a new set of MTs might help, its also a lot faster with the new turbo, haven't done the injectors yet but everything just seems to work more effortlessly. amazingly fast in 3rd around town
  6. if it helps our jig for 808 mazda and ke30 ke55 is exactly the same, same pin to pin, same pinion angle and they are just as weak as the other
  7. if this is totally original its worth every cent of that because a toyota dealer or toyota would definately swap you a new corolla for it. just a couple of things wrong with it 33000 miles? shouldnt it have km speedo seeing metric came in 1966, radial tyres, fail and white walls, there was an totally original RX3 coupe on carsales recently with an asking price of $52500 i think its a great investment but not a driver

  10. the easiest way would be to make a frame and mid mount it, use a G50 porsche 5 speed flipped then flipped, independant rear suspension, then figure out the 5L doesnt make any power so change that to a gen 4 motor, fully cage it and race it as a sport sedan cos they sure as hell wont let you drive it on the road, sounds all to easy with limited mechanical knowledge, talk to an engineer first

    so come and buy my 2 door i need to pay for the turbo, so whats the go with the filter??? surely the engine filter should stop the lumps before the oil goes to the bearings and turbo
  12. Did someone say 5thou surely you mean .5 thou, if it was using oil before and you hone it and put all the old bits back in its gonna use more than before

This may not help you but i can see 3 reasons not to put a 12a in a 800kg car 1st theyre heavy, 2nd they don't put out much power, 3 cops hate rotories so even when theyre legal they just book you for something else, think out of the square, 2.2l and light, 2L suzuki vitara with a gti head or V6 vitara these come in 2L 2.5L 2.7L and 3L all these motors are very compact, light weight alloy and boxs are easy, i think a ke10 with quad cam 24valve 6cyl would be cool

    i reckon the only reason they went to bearings is to stop us servicing our own turbos, i also think that the spool time difference would be insignificant if any, i definately wouldn't spend $600 more to get one

    did some checking on these and the word is not good, in fact they tell me the chinese ones are better, they,re also pretty close to garrett price
