  1. that was my thought, a ke70 in this condition would get $2000 and this is a 1000 times rarer, the asking price is quit a bit more
  2. still negotiating but i will let you know
  3. Hi guys, just hoping someone might be able to help, i'm negotiating with a family on a totally original KE11, i know nothing about these as to wether they are valuable or not, it's original in every way toyoglide totally rust free, all original paint, orig inside and vgc, all chrome and trims perfect, the only thing i would do to it is spend $200 at dent doctor, are they in the same legue as KE10s?, any imput would be greatly appreciated. i'm going to buy it anyway but it would put my mind at ease to know i'm not paying over the top, thanks
  4. Sadly i remember most of these cars when they were new, but they reckon your only as young as the women you feel so i'm doing ok
  5. hey Evan, mines got 8.4 times the power of your 4K that explains a few things
  6. I don't know about SA but in QLD those blue parkers would attract the cops like pigs to a trough full of grain!, the rest is looking very cool though
  7. Bekkkah, nobody is having a go at anybody, it,s just that when MOST people read that crap we stop after the first group of letters, there is a lot of knowledge on here but your doing away with 90% of it, Maybe get him to TXT his questions to you then you write the post. I'm older than corollaart and have to say i started reading your original post, laughed and clicked of, welcome to the club but abusing the guys that oversee the site free of charge in their own time assures your your stay here will be short lived
  8. He has a problem with spelling, so f@$king what! Learn to read ok! it's not that hard, I could read what he wrote! And there is absolutely no need to be a smart ass and make rude comments. I just had a lovely gentleman call me and talk to me about some of the people on here. Start acting your age! Theres no need for smart ass comments and what not. And I couldn't even find the F&Q when I looked either. I was expecting it to be in the forum. And thankyou Redwarf & TRD Ke70 And to all people in the future who have a problem reading my partners posts, try having a little patience because I normally come back through later on and fix them all up ok! how very unlol
  9. Free bump, great work btw i just love this car
  10. all the way up to 308 into ke30 thats taken care of everything from easy to stupid
  11. maklng the mounts is by far the easiest part of this conversion, sit it in place, chock it up with pieces of plywood, measure everything, give youself enough clearance to the x menber, make sure your mainshaft of your gearbox and your diff pinion are in the same plane at ride height, not facing each other but in line, measure everything again, when your totally satisfied it's as good as it can be and the bonnet closes start making mounts, TALK TO YOUR ENGINEER
  12. i'm in windaroo, bring me the diff centre and i'll weld it for a 6 pack
  13. couldn,t you just drive the VH and figure out if its worth all the trouble, the weight of the cars would be very close so the outcome will be the same, diff ratios may help it take of better but its gonna rev at 100k
  14. definately yes and late barina are another 1in shorter again, you can't use sedan into wagon because they will run out of travel before it hits bump stops
  15. Hi, first wagon shocks are shorter than a sedan, to bleed the brakes your master cyl might be getting tired, so when you push fluid out then release quickly it pulls air around the rubbers in the master cyl rather than fluid from the cylinder, i never pump the pedal when bleeding and never had any dramas, just fill it to max then open all bleeders if you have only done the rears only open them, wait untill fluid starts running and keep it topped up, when all bubbles stop close the lowest bleeder first then the next, should work fine

my wagon weighs 1060kgs so when you add up bigger diff, tailshaft, fuel system, front struts, gearbox, clutch, turbo and manifold, intercooler and piping, motor, wheels and tyres + a hundred other things probably not to bad, when you have 520ft lbs torque it doesnt matter much
