  1. welcome fellow wagoneer, somehow there seem to be more wagons than sedans now, or maybe there just cooler
  2. easy answer 450hp the wheelspin is the problem, .3sec reaction time, 1.61 60ft 98mph half track, 2 year old yokohama c drives on 15psi and it weighs 1060kgsthe 12.4 @ 84 was same setup but in a ke30 crossing the line wearing the door handles away
  3. it has run 12.4@84mph and 12,3@121 just depends how it takes of, the 104 run was on a dial in time of 12.00 so i had the foot on the brake
  4. very very cool
  5. Nope never, 2js were in our supras, the engineer needs reengineering
  6. HAHA i just think there's other ways of doing it
  7. i knew what the response was going to be but it got people talking, i saw a set on a SV21 camry and nothing could look sillier, for the record i like them on old cars, its just the newer ones????
  8. 64 EH holden not a white wall to be seen, falcon 65 on xp xr xt xw xy xa not a painted tyre EVER, xy gtho's came with goodyear aquajets with a thin red line but no whitewalls, This gets us up to 1971. it's all up to personel choise but i think that a lot of young guys think that this is the way it was but it wasnt, just think when the first corolla was released the XR GT falcon won bathurst, not a whitewall to be seen, 1970 was XY GTHO, XU1 toranas right up to Moffats 1978 gs falcon and no white walls. i'm the first to say we should be individual. my wag most people wont like but check out any of gavlastics posts and you will always get the Take the springs out, venetions and white walls thing. all on immaculate examples of the breed. These should be put away and treasured not butchered, chop and cut up the rusty ones but leave the good ones alone, they will make you money in the long run, we all have different views but on this i'm right
  9. A overrated ke10 is not worth SFA and if it was just whitewalls i would agree, it would be a long time before a ke38 is worth a lot of money so from my original investment of $253 it doesn't seem to count
  10. How to stir up a hornets nest i know. white wall tyres were on 50's and early 60's cars so why do people put them on 70's and 80's cars, to me it's the same as putting wooden wheels on a 57 chevy, i can't beleive that when someone posts a story on there say immac original ke55 theres a whole heap of people responding with calls to cut the coils, venitians, mazda 808 hub caps(or some other brand) and white walls, totally taking away from its originality and devalueing it in the process. to me knothing looks sillier than a ke70 with white walls
  11. 197kph on the rev limit in 4th, i have a time sheet from willowbank to prove it. just a good tune
  12. also any other problems like speedo cables, reverse light switches etc
  13. early commodre rear pads are db1086
  14. Those polarisers actually worked, the whole car ran smoother, of course you had to run your tyres at 20psi before it went smoother, which is why holden kicked him out
  15. anyone remember the tailpipe tip that was designed to pull the exhaust gasses through better, the claim was for better fuel economy and power, instead of a supercharger it was a supersucker
  16. this brings up 5 advantages for nitrogen over air explosion. surely in 122 years since pnuematic tyres were invented they would have made them so that compressed air doesn't make them explode, ( but possible ) noise, i don't know how ( but possible ) comfort, air will take your tyres from say 30psi to 40psi when hot which is where they are designed to run, nitrogen will stay at 30psi which may be more comfortable but possibly under inflated ( posslble ) vibration, ( bullshit ) stopping rims from deforming, the tyres at operating pressure will be under inflated so i don't care about molecule structure pothole wins everytime so ( absolute bullshit ) it doesn't even mention extra tyre life, if you don't run your base tyre pressure above recommended then this is bullshit as well i was originally only interested in th spelling
  17. Chinese machine, perfect ingrish
  18. Read the text carefully
  19. found on a nitrogen filling station at bob jane beenleigh, how does it redcuce vibration
  20. anything is possible but you have to ask yourself why?
