This maybe a hopeless thread and could possibly be answered by a quick call to the motor registration office BUT being in the younger generation i want answers now. Does anyone know the legality of engine upgrades regarding K series engines? For example, if a ke30 with its registrated original motor (3K 1.3L) was swapped with a higher capicity engine (5K 1.5L) where do I stand regarding legality. Will it be a regency task to make it legal? Would it be the same as a 3K 1.3L to a 3tc 1.8L - no tolerance? Is there a certain capacity that is allowed to be increased? or is there no tolerance? If that makes sense, I would appreciate any knowledge! Thank you, Will.

Again - no strip - doesn't look overly bad. Strip moved up a little - looks the best.
