  1. Company behind the website is Agoda. After nasty emails through PayPal and to their "customer" service people finally got a refund. Company tried to offer us vouchers then they wanted our credit card details or a license details and bank account details to get a refund because they couldn't refund through PayPal......
  2. Booking and paying for accommodation online. Arriving and then being told that we are over booked...... Then basically being screwed by the booking agent. Found replacement accom myself and now being stuffed around on a refund......
  3. Feel for you. Not knowing is the worst when it comes to a loved ones health. And it feels at times docs are guessing. Yeah, can't believe that I've been here for 13 years!!!! And yep Towe001, was on Oldcorollas before this. Making me feel old......
  4. Well, Just got a call from the missus. SHE IS COMING HOME TOMORROW
  5. Well, the missus ain't home yet but has been moved to Bendigo. Only 45 min down the road now....😀
  6. Sucks that rehab wasnt closer than 2.5 hours away...... She is handling most of rehab well. Still nauseous and balance is an issue atm, but I'll take that over what it was like last month.
  7. The missus finally out of Hospital and into rehab. One step closer......
  8. Big relief to see the missus without a tube in her head today
  9. MRI wasnt good. Blood vessels in the brain spasming. Bed ridden and back on drip again. But, the level of vacuum applied to her head drain has now been reduced, so she must be improving much less blood in discharge now. Just need to kill the headaches.....
  10. Time of year sucks. Waiting on an MRI but wont be until Thursday when they start operating again. Missus or really starting to get pissed off just lying around. Doesnt understand why she needs to. Ps. Big G was one of our sons basketball nick names.....
  11. Thanks for the support guys. Really appreciate it. Makes it a little easier. Still blood present in the brain drain and testing isn't showing source. She is about sick of hospital and laying around. Was able to talk to her this afternoon which was an improvement
  12. Thanks for the link. Already have the reimbursement form to fill out. Lucky we are getting a huge amount of support from home from child minding through to work lending me a more economical car to drive. The town of Maryborough has been incredible with their support.
  13. Yeah, can't complain about the treatment. $$$$ for parking and accommodation are another story......
  14. Sitting in the Alfred watching my missus recovering from a severe brain bleed.....testing doesnt show the source. Sucks - youngish (47), non drinker, non smoker, fit, health eater....... Just gotta wait and see if she comes back. Shitty Christmas for the kids. Wish it was me instead.
  15. My 5k had some sort of pump on the rhs of yhe engine so brackets are around that could be adapted. I'll try and get a rough measurment of a Cruze compressor at work for you Actually, OEX list a rebuilt compressor and clutch in their catledog for a KE30/35 Part number crd6093 & cxx003
  16. Can you run a taller wheel/tyre combo....?
  17. Yeah, early Astra's have an electric power steer pump which is not computer controlled, so easy to use. I'm also in the drive it and see camp. Used to run 235's on the front of my HZ ute without power steer and it was fine. In fact I took the power steering off that car.
  18. Wasnt expecting so soon. And no "twitching and taping" wires.....good enough for Jayco
  19. Thats what the radio is for ;) Something like that. Took it off after having to suck fuel through the line on the side of the road to re prime the pump. Got old real soon. don't know if it would work better mounted under the tank.
  20. Tried a Holley Red pump once in the engine bay. Didn't like sucking much. Would stop randomly but was soooooo much quieter.
