Maybe your starter is the culprit (had a lot of starter problems before, jamie knows this). check all leads that go to the starter, something might have come loose.

Have you tried jump starting it?

Yes, they have the same engine mounts. turbocharging a 4agze would be a bit difficult since this engine is a supercharged one and has an intercooler mounted at the top of the engine. try looking for a 4agte which is the turbo version of the 4age. Z - supercharger T - turbocharger this is if your mates engine is a 4afe. if its a 2e engine, a good swap is the 4efte. same engine mounts.

Well.....if you really really really really wanna drift, why don't you take your tyres out of your back wheels. you can drift all day if you want. So thats what a motorkhana is!! Here in the philippines we call it a Slalom race.

the car is a us version corolla sprinter thats why he has those big bumpers, Te21.

Saw this in oldcorollas once. nicest old corolla I've ever seen. looks like its just a day old from the factory considering that the car is 30+ years old.

Nice looking straight bodied corolla!!! Isn't 3mm clearance a bit too tight? 7mm more would be safer... but then again, car is not for cornering....

also check for rust buildup where the clutch cable goes thru the firewall, my ke30 had a rust problem there and it was moving when you step on the clutch. check the chassis also, where the pitman and idle arm attaches to, crossmember mounts are also things to look at aside from what Mr. Tiger already said (I have rust in all the areas that he said)

do they have double contact ones as well? the ones for the break light and park light?

how do they look on an old car? do they look good? will these go into the stock bulb sockets? Hmmm.... I hope these things are available here. do you have any pictures? pls try to post some if you have.

So is the ke1x same diameter as the Ke30 front springs? I will be using the Ke1x springs for comparison when I visit the wreckers. my concern is that i want to fit whatever springs I can pull out of the wreckers straight up to the struts. and yeah, i want to go up.

Yeah, its good to have pictures and a writeup....so that I can compare my carby rebuild and see if I'm doing something wrong. :)

Oh! good thing I asked first, maybe i'll just drop by some of the wreckers here. do they have the same spring diameter tho? *Edit* i'll be bringing along my ke1x spring for measurements if they have the same diameter.

hello everybody, I have searched and have read the suspension on the wiki but could not find any( i dunno if I've used the search correctly) So here is the question, Can I fit ke1x front suspension springs on my Ke30? i have spare Ke1x springs and I would like to raise my Ke30 a few inches because its the rainy season here in the Philippines, lots of flooded streets and everything. If there is a topic about this previously, I'm sorry for posting, just reply with the link. Thanks again. :dance:

Hey! this Te21 is from the Philippines! The Owner is a friend and the car recently won a car show here! (I believe the pix were taken from the car show) Its got TOMS igeta wheels 7.5in. 175/50 13 pirelli P7f of course as you can see, a 3tc turbo and a webber 50. I'll try to post additional pix of the car.

Really? wow, what a bummer, so whats the smallest size you can put? 175/60s? with 8in. wide wheels they look also good....
