  1. Yep, most certainly. I'll be up at Winton for the 6hr just lending a hand for the weekend (not competing) to get an idea of it all. Probably wont be competing in anything until race-car is finished, too much for a daily methinks. Work on said race-car has recently recommenced. ;)
  2. Wow....I never knew a non-timed, non-speed event could be so much bloody fun! Even in a car that's not 'race-spec', you can have a blast just flinging it around learning where the limits are. I found them....on my second run of the day, but no major damage done. We ran the course both clockwise, then anti-clockwise after a lunch break. I must say it was a major challenge in either direction In-car footage is uploading as we type/read & new tyres are being sourced to replace the nearly gone ones I now have. Thinking about the set of Twin Cam brakes I have laying around somewhere too, as I'm pretty sure mine are now fanucked. :( Many thankyou's & lots of appreciation must go to the (won't mention names here) organisers of the day & to everyone who pitched by donating half an hour here & there to marshal. Except that idiot on the Finish Line after lunch, don't let him back again... ;) By marshal I mean return the cones to their original positions after someone who cares more about racing line rather than the course comes through, probably describes most of us. :laff: Without their organisation & everyone's assistance, the day would not have gone so.well, I had a blast so thankyou all very much. Oh thankyou to the coffee guy who was there keeping everyone caffienated & the bloke on the BBQ, top work! :y: Enough talk, pics! Blue Thing - 1 Student Carpark Sign - 0
  3. CAMS affiliated event, sup-regs say helmet must be worn.
  4. We did Brimbank Park...that's West-ish.. ;) Cleaned rubbish out of BT - Check Checked fluid levels & tyre pressures - Check Borrowed Helmet - Check Video camera & mount - Check Ready to flog the piss out of my daily (again) - Check :D
  5. More vids, some time at the F1. You always need bagpipes.
  6. Part of the Monte Carlo Rally course I just had to turn around & drive again. I apologise for the poor filming, digital still camera shooting video attached to a 'should've-brought-a-better-one' mount.
  7. That reminds me, must stop by the post office. Porsche Club track-day viewing. Edit: :D
  8. Sweet Lord, there's a car in the shed!

  9. Any idea how big (cc) these injectors are & if their impedance is the same as the bigport injectors?
  10. So many questions, I have some of my own. :) What engine do you have? How's the ignition timing? There should be two earth wires going from the battery's negative terminal. One to the top of the gearbox & the other to the body. *Taking a punt on what engine you have:
  11. Amen to that (trying to convince boss to swap to a Hyundai i-load before it's too late), you pushed yours off a cliff yet? :P S.B in the daylight, it's a lot scarier when you can see how far the wreckage will tumble if you stuff up. I mean, it's f**king beautiful! :)
  12. When you have access to sections of road with no speed limits & a "This vehicle is limited to ...km/h" sticker on the dash of your car, you just have to don't you? My first look at the San Bernadino Pass, had wanted to take the tunnel through the mountain, grab some sleep & go for it in the morning. It had been a long day & I was probably going a tad faster than what would be considered sensible.
  13. Well.......... Uploading the video to YouTube was easy enough, then I had lots of fun fending off copyright claims from several parties, which may have included a large record label. Basically told them all to go get f**ked & we'll see how it pans out. :) Anywho a little bit of fun from Amsterdam, a part of the tour of the Heineken Brewery. There's a hallway with a heap of projectors & sensors mounted to the ceiling, which adapt the image on the floor in relation to where you are & what you do. This was before I got a few beers into me. The bells of the Cologne Cathedral going off.
  14. It certainly didn't get today off to a good start, that's for sure. Whenever I get the 'account delete' feeling, I have a friends list/likes page purge. Cleans up my news feed too. :D It has it's upsides, like keeping in contact with people you actually like who are a fair distance away. Getting a random message would freak me out though.
  15. WGMG - Finding out that my grandmother passed away last night via peoples Facebook posts. There's things you don't want to be informed of via social media, is a simple phone call too much ʞ©$ɟing effort nowadays?
  16. Mmm...Buddy Clubs... *drools*
  17. Videos are uploading, may take a while as there's about 9gb or so worth. :) I had no idea which particular ones they were, just thought you'd like it. I can highly recommend it, airfares will be the most expensive single part & pretty much everything can be booked online. For what I spent, my car could be completely finished exactly how I want it. Not too concerned that it's not, it was worth every cent! Inside St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. Random Irish protesting. So many puns for this one, I'll just leave it alone. More from Blarney. The poison garden, thinking about taking up a new hobby... ;) The plants accompanying the signs were all there in the garden, except one. Meanwhile, in Amsterdam...
  18. Posting up on behalf of my house-mate, to contact either post up here in the thread or PM me. Hey people, As of a few days ago, I have registered my new Astra and as such, the Telstar will be leaving us. If anyone's interested I'm looking for around $1500. I've just let the registration expire as it was to be sold back to the previous owner who has pulled out this morning due to family issues rearing their head at the best time possible. 19. My apologies, I should learn to keep my mouth shut for a little longer. That & hit F5 once in a while. :) Good point, maybe a few FWD owners could collaborate information for some content? *hintwinknudge*
  20. Can the AE82/92's have a section too? Liking it. :)
  21. There's a special place in Belgium where Volvo's go to die. The Corolla count was sadly lacking.
  22. I  nature.
  23. Very, Switzerland was a reality check as well. Sure, the national limit's 80km/h & it's twisty with some straight bits like the Great Ocean Road. But you're on a BIG friggin mountain, with randomly appearing wandering cows & not as many/less sturdy safety barriers as what we have. Commonly sighted cars around these parts (aside from the local variety) were MX-5's & S2000's. ;) Germany. Italy. Switzerland. France. That video upload did nasty things to my data allowance, going to borrow my house-mates connection soon to upload the rest that I've finally managed to sort through. This one? You & me both. Saw this in Monza, went for another drive. With the traction control having a hissy-fit & me nearly falling out of my seat I in no way did it justice. Probably a good thing as there's large pieces of tree on the road & a fence across the track halfway around. I normally don't like the new Mini's, but...
  24. This is why I shouldn't be allowed to play with fancy gadgets. Hopefully I've fixed that & it should work now. :)
  25. Please excuse the background music & the massive file size, a little of Stelvio.
