I don't think it matters what the car/bike is, someone will always say you're silly to spend money on it. F*ck 'em, it's yours, not theirs. Besides, when it's what you want what reason is there for a bigger bike? :) $200 of parts you have to go out & get versus $76 delivered to your door...that's a win for any vehicle let alone an import!

I gotta say, I really enjoy the TCCAV Cars, Coffee & Donuts meetups. Not only is it a good chance to grab a hot coffee, free donuts & talk $h1t with fellow enthusiasts, it's also great for picking up parts! :D At the risk of repeating myself, a big thankyou to dpb for supplying me with a new 'air-conditioning condensor'. I've decided to make the AE82 AC system more efficient by driving the compressor off the exhaust system rather than a belt drive, so there'll be nice & chilly air temperatures all-around! :? Wait.....what do you mean air-conditioning doesn't use 2 1/2" pipe? ;)

Nice score on both the plate & the parts, especially the price. It is a big overhaul & I realise you like/love the bike so you don't care too much about the cost, but it's always nice to spend less than you thought you'd have to. :y: The full fairing kit also seems quite cheap too.

If you go to a trivia night, make damn sure you have Hiro Protagonist on your team or on speed dial & you will pwn everyone! :D

Mine already did when I got it, plus it looks like it, so it may as well match? :P Dunno what it is with driving & wanting a cigarette Will, mostly idiot drivers I suppose. Then again, the urge comes when on the open highway too. :( My housemates are quitting as well so I'm predicting a few 'take a deep breath & walk away for a minute' moments in the coming weeks. :laff: I don't know if I'm quitting more for health or for money...honestly I don't really care! I thought about how I started, realised just how long ago that was & also why. Keep thinking from there & it gets really depressing.

When drinking alcohol & when driving are two situations where I find it hard to avoid the urge. I could do with a little extra weight so the eating isn't a big issue. Stocked up on gum, lollies, snacks etc to keep that hand to mouth habit occupied. :)

I've tried the usual patches, gum, cold turkey, hell even hyponotherapy got a run. Like Willis, there's times I 'enjoy' it & there's times it makes me sick, nevermind financially poorer. If you don't smoke, keep it that way, it's an arse of a habit to get rid of. No nicotine plus usual life stresses make Lukey go something something, finding alternatives when I'd normally have a smoke is going to be fun. Also avoiding a few friends for while, avoiding temptation.

As above, :y: *Looks at champix tablets on shelf with guilt* WMMH - Random stuff in the mail, my sister & I live 700kms apart for a reason. Yet, when she sends me something like this out of the blue, I can't help but love her. :) *Insert childhood flashback here*

My Profile > Manage Ignore Prefs > Copy/Paste Username > Save changes Edit: Okay, not the best idea. Probably better to hit the 'Report Post' button in this instance.

Jeez, talk about your faith in humanity taking a big kick in the balls. Notes have been taken, glad this had a somewhat positive ending. Mildly surprised you didn't bounce his face around the carpark, I would've. :laff:

Plastics lesson #8 for me - Polycarbonate can be expensive...like $65 for a 900mm x 600mm sheet of 3mm expensive. Fortunately I don't need it that thick & managed to find some 1.5mm stuff for $20 a square metre, much better! First attempt was a fail, it only shaped over the roof so I reheated it & went again. Got the position wrong & stuffed it. Second attempt I didn't pay attention to the plastic as it was heating & made a mess on the BBQ hotplate. Third attempt (with some 'massaging' with a heatgun) came out alright. Difficult not to get the creases in the corners but the hatch spoiler & front bumper shaped up quite nicely. Tough enough to not crumple when you pick it up too. ^ This guy speaks the truth! It's why I bought several metres of the stuff, prepared for failure. I'm thinking a second vacuum will definitely be of assistance, thankyou for the tip man!

Do you want to put a gearbox back & have it as a functional vehicle or are you taking the 'box from the car for use elsewhere?
-
Well, this erxplains where you've been & what you've been up to! Love the photo of the Humpback with the troopy in tow.

Ooh, AGM time. :) Exams are over so I'll be able to make this one!

It'd be a lot easier to take him seriously if he spent less time making videos & won a few rallies here & there. Instead he seems to be heading for Mr McRae's DNF record...

More a precaution than anything, was a cold & turned into a chest infection. It knocked the hell out of me & didn't wish it upon anyone, I think I spent the majority of the weekend sleeping... Will be around to play Vikings soon enough! :y:

Spotted today on Epsom Road, a metallic blue KE70 slanty front. Looked like it was running 15" alloys & the bumpers were colour coded. Looked quite clean & looked after, then again I could be wrong, it is a k-sev. :P

Just get a 4 point then. :P Reproducing isn't on my agenda so this doesn't worry me at all. :D

SWEET! :D I missed all the fun... :( Then again, I would've been held up in quarrintine for trying to bring an infectious disease across the bridge.
