  1. Did you ask the guys at the counter? At our work we have them behind console.
  2. Work "mates". We were having a meeting today, so I was the one who got to stay in the shop while they went outside for the meeting. Now, I work at a place where everyone one loves skank, sorry, star fm. There was no one else in the shop but me and it was really quiet so I changed the station to JJJ. It stayed that way for like two, two and a half hours (?) and then during one of the random times when it says "super request on triple j", my colleague who was working with me came up and heard this (he had been off doing other stuff all night, nowhere near the audible reach of the radio) and said "What is this shit?" and changed it to f@$king skank fm again. And guess what, he walked off again and didn't come within audible reach of the radio again until I went home. :D :abuse: :'( :abuse:  :D :D Nothing like a little bit of benchwarmers in the afternoon to get your blood boiling and your mind emptied.
  3. Have you checked the classifieds in the local paper? I've seen a couple of security jobs going in the last few weeks. Don't worry, I know how you feel, similar thing happened last year when I was in Wollongong, 6hrs away from Robert. Good luck with it! :|
  4. I have my lip pierced, but I also want to get my eyebrow and my nose done, and I was thinking of getting my lip done at least once more. Wanted my navel pierced ages ago but now I'm too fat. Planning on getting a tattoo on the inside of my wrist, maybe one on my foot and a couple on my back, if I ever have the money. Thinking about getting a sleeve on my right arm over my scars, the local tattooist said alot of people with bad scars do that. I don't know how my doctor will like that though, I might wait until I'm sure all my skin grafts are done. :|
  5. Stop doing all that stuff one day and see what happens. Oh yeah, do the whole "No TV or phone until you've done all your housework" lmao :|
  6. Robert wants to know if you've ever changed an oil filter on a Kluger with a 3MZ-FE?
  7. I know how you feel, I have sciatica. My back is constantly killing me, and I'm young, I'm not supposed to have back problems. At least you don't have scars, I have scars, I've had them practically my whole life. I was given shit all through school and I can never go out in public in a singlet top without people blatantly staring at me and treating me differently... And now I've figured out I can never get rid of the horrible things, they've barely faded since I got burned and there's basically nothing available to get rid of them. I can't even put on this you-beaut make up crap, because it's designed for discolouration scars not raised scars. That's WGMG, but on a lighter note, there are alot of people worse off than me. Makes you feel lucky, but sometimes it's a small consolation...
  8. ^^^^^nooooooooooooo! :hmm:
  9. (robert too lazy to logout and login again here) So the difference in model number refers to the engine or transmission? its a manual, and a high roof model. Unsure of if it had cruise or not, spent more time trying to find a pollen filter/air filter and locate the battery (surprisingly easy). The window reg wasn't too bad to replace either, once you work on one german car they are all the same nearly. Nothing is as bad as the long tube spin on oil filter with a hex on the end of it as fitted to vw transporters, the one where you have to reach around the subframe under the car and put a socket/uni/ratchet/extension on it on a weird angle to undo it.... love it how the compliance plate doesn't mention the model, can't find it anywhere not even on the rego sticker. it says daimler chrysler on it in a few places though.... can't be a good thing!! Robert
  10. I finally got a digital SLR! Yay! And i should probably be framing right now. RC is like the biggest procrastination ever
  11. This is me and my other half, Robert, many of you may know him as rob83ke70.
  12. Wow! There's more of us here than what I thought. Here's a piccie of me and my other half, Robert (rob83ke70)
  13. Littleredspirit: That I used to be on my p's and no one listened, so I figured that my invisibility cloak has disappeared since I got my full licensed, and I like to complain! Plus they rarely have anyone on their side, so LOOK AT ME!! I'm on some of your side's (If you can drive properly and don't chuck burnouts every 5 seconds!) :D
  14. am? You mean radio? No, why? Men!!!! lol! Sorry, had to do it, someone just posted women, so fair's fair. Also dickheads who you come up beside in the next lane at the traffic lights. My car is loud and lumpy and because of this people think you want to drag! So I take off slower than I normally would so I don't get caught by the cops for "dragracing" or whatever. Granny style! :D
  15. I know you are talking about young drivers, but I am simply stating that there are a lot of bad drivers on the road who do not have their P-plates and you get no warning. I don't fight the road rules, as much as I didn't like a select few, I stuck to all of them. I'll just give you an example of why this P-plate thing bugged me so much: When this new rule came in about not being able to display those suctiony P-plates on your window, I left them on, but also displayed ones on the outside. When my boyfriend went to drive (fully licensed)he took off the outside ones but left the inside ones on, he got pulled over about a block from home. They got all disappointed when they realised he was fully licensed and told him to take them off, which means these P-plates are fully visible, or else he wouldn't have gotten pulled over. Another example: A friend of ours was driving to Tamworth on his Green P's. He had the window ones on. A cop cut off a truck in peak hour traffic to do a u-turn and speed to catch up with our mate to pull him over. He was doing nothing wrong. And for your information, I am fully licensed, I had not lost one point, been in one single accident or been given a simple parking ticket. I have passed all of my tests first go: L's, Red P's test, Green P's Test, Full License test, Plus Motorbike L's and P's, which I got a full license for even before I was fully licensed in a car. I don't scrape gutters and stall on hills and can do perfect reverse parallel parks. So don't start. The only reason why it's "fight the power" as you put it, is we have people, such as you, who did not have to go through all this bullshit, and think they are really great driver's say that this is the best thing. How on earth do you know? You didn't have to do shit compared to us, and you see, the really bad driver's of your age and older got through and are still bad drivers, still have bad habits and are still causing near accidents, just like bad P-plate drivers. Trust me, I know that this is "for the best" and "no, really, it will help curb the youth road toll" not! All I'm saying is I think they could have put better more practical measures in place that would produce better results. I know there are alot of bad P-plater's on the road, but there are also alot of cautious good ones who don't really like driving much as they'd much prefer to stay out of accidents because they don't trust other drivers. My friend is one of them. She only drives when she needs to, she never speeds, never does anything stupid and abides by the road rules. Half the problem is that some RTA officers are too soft. I was really pissed to learn that one person I know through a friend passed their P's after hitting a kerb and 'bumping' the car behind!! I go picked on for not being exactly straight beside a trailer before commencing a reverse parallel behind it! I think the government could have thought of a much better way to deal with the issue, like practical driver training, I do agree with upping the hours on L's though. As I'm sure I've said before, I think everyone should have to do a driving test every 5 years or whenever they renew the licence. And there needs to be an across the board, this passes this fails thing. Oh, and more education about motorbikes, I don't know how many times I've had a near miss because people just don't look!
  16. The labor government has absolutely nothing to do with the economy going to shit. You can blame all the greedy f@$king CEO's who are still getting their bonuses. Cocksuckers!
  17. Please don't pigeon hole us! I'm so sick of that. Yes, I am of the same generation of this mass mob of mindless idiots descending on the world, but I am not like that. I respect people until they say stuff like this, because I know a hell of a lot of people of the older generation who demand respect, yet act like my generation. What about all of the fully licensed drivers out there who can't drive. You don't get any "fair warning" with those. It really reflects on your driving ability when you run into someone because you weren't aware of how bad they were driving and then blame it on them because their P-plates weren't displayed. You should be aware and cautious of all drivers because they all pose a risk! Sure P-platers are less experienced, but it gets to a point where the older "better, experienced" drivers get lassaiz faire and start slipping and having accidents. And we don't make elderly people wear E-Plates. Some of them are just as dangerous as P or even L Platers. EDIT: Oh, and since when do bad P-Plater driver's go from bad to good when they get their fulls. They're probably still "learning" they've still got all the bad habits of a P-plater, but guess what? NO WARNING!!! Shock horror! So what makes him an idiot? He's a shitload better than old johnny howard ever was! It'll be just Rudd's luck that Rudd will be voted out in the next election before this whole thing's even over and then it'll be back to "Oh, labour's so bad! Look what they got us into, Oh! but the liberal's got us out ra ra ra!!"
  18. Racists SkankFM lovers f@$king Ferals who have kids, don't look after them and then the kids turn into minime gangster wannabe's like their parents, going around picking fights with everyone, stealing cars, breaking into houses. They should all be neutered to better the population of the earth. That would take care of half of the new deficit in the budget and mean we wouldn't need so many police around here!!!
  19. Sounds great! We bought a tailshaft loop off eBay (I think) I can't remember how much we paid for it, but we discovered that we'd have to relocate fuel and brake lines in order to fit it. We figured out later on that we could just make one without so much hassle. $5 and 20 minutes later we had it made and installed, now we have to figure out what to do with the other one! Keep us updated on the progress! :P
  20. Well, this actually happened on Saturday, but you don't know that! :P I finally have my blacks!!!! No more P-Plate crappy things! YAY
  21. I'm all for if you did something wrong you deserve what you get. But, what kind of a f@$king road safety issue is not having P-plates displayed properly on your vehicle? WTF? These whole lot of laws are just bullshit made up to look like they're actually trying to do something productive. PFFT! yeah right! The only thing that these laws do is raise revenue and keep the few honest ones out of trouble, which they would probably never get themselves into anyway cause it's the sensible ones who obey the rules. Sure, having peers and talking on a mobile while in the car distracts drivers, but just how many actually stuck to their curfew? I actually agree with the alcohol one, but I think it's kind of a drag if you were to get pulled over the next day when you feel fine and are theoretically sober. There is NO road safety issue in regards to not displaying your p-plates incorrectly or at all! It's just an excuse for cops and other road users to pick on you and carry on with all their f@$king old fart whingeing. :fuzz: YES, there are some bad P-plate drivers out there, but there's alot more fully licensed driver's who don't deserve a license as well. Maybe they should try some basic driver education courses and some practical driving lessons. They should make it mandatory to do an advanced driver course and take away all the dumb arse laws that are band-aids. :bash:  :P  :P :D
  22. I'd be up for this, but maybe ACT would have to merge with another state?
  23. So what sort of ideas do you have for the wagon?
