This may help... ke20 paintcode thread There was a link to a really good paintcode webpage on RC somewhere, but I can't find it. If all else fails, take a swatch down to your local paint shop and they can match it for you.

I'm having issues with our local tyre suppliers and cannot find a good second-hand or new set of rally tyres for my Corolla. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where to get some from? These are the places I've tried so far... www.avonracing.com www.garysmotorsporttyres.com.au looked for ads in AutoAction mag Toyo Rally Tyres Gordon Levin Auto Tyres www.tracksidetyres.com.au eBay local tyre franchises Now most of the websites and things have tyres, but I can't seem to get anything less expensive than $210 per tyre. Which I think is a little expensive seeing as though I'm only just starting out and only doing khana/motorcrosses. Any help would be appreciated.

WGMG: Orange! It's a cold miserable shithole that's filled with people who are either really up themselves and can't understand people who are struggling or f@$king idiots who have nothing better to do then make life miserable for everyone else. Apparently some psycho up in Glenroi, in the street we used to live in, staked out someone's garden shed and started shooting at all the houses in the street. The cops went up there, so then they started shooting at the cops, so they had to call for back-up. We moved to what we thought to be a better area. It is, but not by much. But, I suppose, at least we don't have trigger happy people running around trying to kill everyone... WARNING: Don't move to Orange!!! You may think it sounds OK, but it's not.

Well.... A stock VL is almost always faster than a 'modified' VL. OMG bro I put huge wheels and da biggest sub doofers you can find, dey so heavy, and now it's fully pimped out. And den da body kit and pink paint job mate, goes heaps betta than ya car bra! And sounds cooler with da sick soundin exhaust!!!!! See all these modifications make it go faster.... :) :jamie: WGMG: Not having enough hours in the day. And I can't find this bloke's number anywhere that I'm supposed to be buying my latest addition to the family off. Oh and work only paying standard weekend pay for public holidays. Apparently we're not even going to get double time at Christmas this year. Time to find a new job methinks...

Probably what some of the Commodore owners were thinking when they were putting a later model body kit onto an earlier model Commodore... :jamie: EDIT: Dude, how the hell did they manage to get 7 bids on it? and why is the reserve past $500?????? The bidder's are smart, keeping their ID private, I wouldn't want anyone to know I was buying it either! LOL

It would almost definitely be acrylic. Wouldn't be 2pac if it's the original colour. Just to give you a guide, I only used a litre to paint the whole back panel, boot lid and 1/2 way down the rear quarters on each side on my ke55, and that was with a few mistake coats (rubbed them back and painted them again) so 2 litres will be ample.

Wow! Congrats

I'm a real sucker for those types of wheels too... I'm not really into convertibles due to the body flex that occurs in alot of them, but you said you added alot of reinforcement. Has it made alot of difference? Does it have any flex or handle like your typical convertible mr2? Looks like a great job, wish I had the know-how to cut and weld things like this, we were thinking of giving the 55 a back end transplant when she's finally off the road, has too much cancer. +1 for the pics of the ke20s!

Hi We were just wanting to get some clarification on this... We have been thinking about putting a 6-point roll cage in a race/road car, but we were told by a (retiring) engineer that he would not engineer a 6 point, only a 4 point. Therefore a 6-point roll cage would have been unregisterable. He is the only engineer in the area. We're not quite sure if this is true or he was saying it because he couldn't be stuffed. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a 6-point roll cage engineered in a road registered car?

I took a photo of one at the Southern Cross Street cruiser's car show for work, I don't know what it is, and unfortunately I don't think I am allowed to post the pic up, but anyway. It had the numberplate SKU115 on it, it was a bit of a ratrod
