  2. Thought i better make a post in this thread from Canada - w00t. Considering in the last post i was talking bout this holiday - ill be home for about 2 weeks, then ill fly down to the GOR4 trip. All Inspired up to get this car sorted for good when i get home. This holiday has been what ive needed for a long time = ) The blue is called.. ugh. I know its in this thread somwhere. I can't remember where though. Its a stock Toyota colour from an early model Camry. Its an acrylic paint with a many coats of 2 pack clear over the top. Worked a treat : ) T
  3. Niagara falls at day n night :y: whats been new around here folks?
  4. Daves Farm is fun :P
  5. hahah. Well, a few days till I'm off to daves farm. I'm going to miss this place. These guys are kinda like family haha. Ive got like an hour this arvo to myself, everyones out and about, My friend is off doing music. So, its good to give her some time to herself.. considering ive been here all week. i feel bad for that. But, its been an awesome place. Seen alot, keeping a blog each day. Its turned into an emotional blab, so i might release it oneday. But we'll see. I could honestly type for hours, id just rather tell you all in person when i see ya;ll next ! I actually think australians are fatter on average, on a weeks average comparison from San Antonio. Mmmm. : ) Phones... Ugh. you need a social security number to do anything like that. What the heck is that? Yeah. Internal US flights... mm. I do think the Mr Shades warned me of them. I wont lie, they are horrible. No organization AT all. Had my first thanksgiving yesterday out on a texas ranch. It was cool. Culture ++. : )
  6. hahah this will be my update page I have a few mins this morning, at my friends house. They all getup at midday, its almost 10am. Ive been keeping a log each day, its turned into an epic blog, need to catch up with that. taking lots of photos. I can't fault anyone over here.. people have been so nice to me. Maybe its because when i talk, there eyes start to glow; either way, its great. I need to get skype working, as the few calls ive had on my phone have cost me a minnnt. like, i think i get charged even if someone calls me.ugh. Also, Ben, I'm going to have to bug you to reset my password for my email, and send it to me, so i can get my email working on this. Everything in texas is big. Not, big.. but huge. There servings for everything is out of proportion. haha. There medium is larger than our large for food-everything. Wall mart. My god. i want you back home. Its like 5 bunnings in size, liturally, but with everything in one store. absoluuuetly everything. To live in this country, you need to think like an american. How do you think like one? You have to think convenience in relation to the car. You want bread? where do you go. Australia = Brumbies. Usa? - Wallmart. Some diabetic pills? Australia = Chemist - Usa? Wallmart. The list goes on. i quite like living over here : ) T
  7. bahahah. well, i can't really say much atm, in a wifi free spot? i think. In San Antonio. Its 9:30 am here, waiting for the shops to open at 10am. Its been great so far...so many stories to tell, its only day 3. Ill try to get onto this again later. hahah Youtube friends ftw. Its all this trip is based off, lol. better go find me some new pants, i need another pair. Ya'll have fun now ; )
  8. Bahaha. Its not the first time ive sent the good old jar of Vegemite to friends O/S. Such a funny response each time :y:

It was a $hitty marketing ploy to try and boost sales for a range of toyota's sold (Possibly? over sea's as well) from about 06 to 07 ish. don't quote me on it. But, there was nothing performance sporty about the operation, no surprises there from Toyota. Again. Kind of reminds me of when they slapped the "hi-cam" badge on the 70 series Corolla's back in the early 80's. Funny how something as small as a name can make people go "oooo".
  13. Just keep using the grey key till you loose it. Either way, your going to be up for stupid amounts of money : (
  14. Whops. New Engine Ecu & Keys, you wont have much change out of $2000 give or take. Unfortunately, its a no win situation. Take it to your nearest Toyota dealer. : ( Edit: If you don't have a fully functioning Master key, you cannot reprogram a new master key.
  15. Traitor !!!!!!!!!! hahahah
  16. hahah yeah. Mines geared to cruise at high speeds. First gear is good for like 60? 70? its stupidly large. If i had a 4.4 in the back, i might stand a chance. hahahah
  17. Hahah. She will stay Auto, she will stay with standard wheels, she will stay without any modifications. Even the rear muffler that was replaced when the genuine one rusted out has a slight bark to it, thats too loud for me. If i want a loud car, ill jump into the super K. To be honest, with its electric everything, smooth gearbox, insanely plush & adjustable interior, a list of creature comforts surpassing some of the Lexus range today; its honestly the most boring car to drive. Its just SO nice, i want to fall asleep driving the thing. Go into a corner too fast - suspension is going oh hell no, no boat mode for yo' ass *instantly adjust related side*. Need to accelerate? watch the boost gauge. Need A/C ? The climate control is already ahead of you. How about stopping? Sure, the brakes on the 240 volvo are on another world, but this thing still fills your eye lids with eye balls when the anchors are thrown out the back. eh, ill figure out whats going to happen with her when i get back from O/S in 2 months time. More sitting time for supra. lol.

  20. Haha thanks guys : D Driving along the other night a newer model supra passed me with 2 guys in it, almost hanging out the window trying to get a good look at mine, both giving me the "Supra nod". hahah. Yew :S
  21. 3:35 my god, that's been the best 10 mins of my day. :S
  22. The old duck put up a good fight, but i won in the end  hahah. It was a legit sale : )
  23. So, The story goes along the lines of this. One day, a little old woman decided to get her usual 6 monthly service on her car. The added note on the repair order was that it would idol a little rough at the lights. Considering the car would travel 1 return trip a week from home to the golf course on a thursday mid-morning, every week since 91, she must have been pretty switched on to pickup on it! If thats not good enough, try the fact that she was in her early 80's & the genuine rims don't have one cm of gutter rash. Turns out like most cars with a 7M these days, a simple service is oil, filter, head gasket. This one was no exception. haha. Long story short, she thought the supra was a little much for her these days, and wanted something more "old person spec". She ended up in a Volvo. I thought it looked like a nice car, i didnt even work on the thing, hadnt a clue about how good it was. One of the guys in the workshop passed me and goes "you going to buy this thing as well?" ( its not the first car ive purchased ) - and i said almost like a reflex - orly ? A day later, i was the owner. over the following months, the motor came out to do the head gasket properly. Block was slightly pitted at the back; i could have gotten away with it, but as i am stupidly pedantic, out came the entire motor, Hone the bores, machine the block face, surface grind the head, replace valve seats, steam seals.. i could go on all night, but to put it into perspective, every single bolt, nut, component was checked against book specs, torqued up correctly, cleaned, etc. From the point of removing the motor, to turning the key again, i spent .. under 100? hours painstakingly making sure everything was perfect. And after the run in period, the only problem i found was a clamp on a coolant line was about a 1/3 of a turn loose. Not too bad in my books So, the quick run down - 38,000 kms, log book history from new, Turbo intercooled, Taga top, Tems Elec Suspension, Cruise, Auto Climate, PSteer, R12 AC thats cold as $hit, Auto Radio, Auto etc Car drives like its new, inside still smells new. Not a scratch on the thing, its what defines time-warp. Gets lots of looks when i occasionally drive her : ) T
  24. get a $50 ST141 corona, a 14mm drill bit & a stick welder. 1) 4k = bin 2) Remove 2SC from corona 3) Install entire front end into Ke70 using drill bit to make way for coronas different mounting holes on engine frame 4) weeee Nae, its not that easy.
  25. I'm still burping up telstra promo information sheets. I think i should look at what i put in my mouth next year. mmm. Cough Cough *ring ring*
