  1. UPDATE TIME LADIES ! Well, As some of you may know, currently digging away through yet another apprenticeship. Currently 1/2 through 2nd stadge for Electrical. This means there are 3 weeks left to this block, and thus being able to have life go back to some form of normality ! So, this brings me to say - The Blue Car progress will return, after this period. Things that will be occurring. 1) Finish the dash of mine, once and for all. 2) Get fuel system out of car, get lines fixed, and installed properly 3) Get Immob System Aux Functions installed (hahah keep your eyes peeled :) ) 4) Ke70 Front End = Bin. XT130 + Ae86 Front End = Install 5) JASMA exhaust = Bin. Install Legal, Quiet Exhaust 6) Get side Decals for Blue car sorted and Installed 7) Airbox diameter is too small, and needs to be larger - Back to airbox 101. 8) Install temp sensor for thermo fans somewhere in system properly ~ 9) Get Wheels sorted and on car for once - 10) Balance Tail shaft. 11) Door Trims. hahaha. Been trying at that one for 2 years now :bash: But hey, all going to start occurring soon enough. Its pretty cool to talk to people from all around the world that have seen this, or been inspired by, copied something, or have been Educated - by the project / car :yes: so, Lets see if 2010 is year of the blue car. hahahahaha.   5. at the end of the day, toyota made your 5k with its standard exhaust and standard carby. Your putting a non gen. part on it (extractors) and expecting it to still bolt up. Trying to make it legal is another ball game.

  10. Avalon's are a good car. they are worth nothing because when one looks up the phrase " insomniac curing techniques ", there is a picture of a used avalon on the page. Avalon over Magna any day of the week.
  11. change the scale down to a smaller one - ie 2000u - i can never get the conversion right, maths and i suck ass, but what that, 290 ma? if max is 45 (even thats borderline too much) and you have 290ma current draw - you've got some rather large parasite sucking away at your car's batt storage. Time to start disconnecting things - idea here - if you disconect something and that number drops, your onto a winner. Keep removing things till you've made that number less than 45. Start by removing fuses one at a time and checking back. Find out what system is chewing nom nom nom. Then, once you know what system it is , look further into it till you find your source problem. Ha, this is why we get charged out at $200 an hour : ) Have fun :)

  14. You have a Parasitic Current Draw. If your vehicle is drawing more than 45 milli-amps after the vehicle is in the locked, off position with every single known-application turned off - unplugged after about 2 minutes, then you have something drawing more current than it should = your bats going flat. Is your alternator rooted? 13.08v on idol would mean that its charging - its ok ( for now ) You need to get a multimeter, connect the leads on it so that the back lead is in the common black port on the multimeter, and the red lead is moved to the ammeter position - ie. it might say "10 amp fused". Disconnect the negative lead off the battery. Place the Black lead from the multimeter onto the battery. Place the red lead from the multimeter onto the negative cable of the car. Ie. The Multimeter is now in series with the vehicle = Its now Car = through meter = into battery. Turn the multi meter onto the Amp Scale. Read what it says. Most of the time you'll find its what others have added to cars that cause the current draw issues - ie. radio's, GPS's.. Remember, if you connect the meter up wrong, your going to blow shit sky high. So, don't F*ck it up : ) xoxox

  16. One of my brothers friends grandfather had this old brown kingswood, which be purchased brand new as soon as they were first released. Only in the last 6 months he got rid of it, i never personally saw it, but the family assures me they kept track of it, and it had cracked 2,200,000 kms. wow !

  22. One of there utes has a 4YE setup with a W series g-box. And they look basically identical. Id be keen to see how it lasts over the genuine original toyota product in say.. year 2030.
