went and saw it today. it was getting honed/decked as we spoke.
my builder suggested going high comp (10:1) for this engine cause they love it, little unsure of this. all thats got is a STD motor, ported head?
thats the rule of thumb anyways. 6x9 have tons of bass from a stock headunit, amped it sounds like a sub. (well i fooled everyone with my wog DOOF DOOF boot rattle)

getting fuel? air? spark?
how did it stop running?
check your fuel cut off solenoid on the carby (little green plug) or poor some fuel down the carby and see if she kicks
its a ballast resistor.
it lowers the voltage to the coil for better starting and to stop cooking points.
you getting spark? is the coil getting hot? bypass/unplug the resistor. it should still start
