  3. carby is the wrong way around. also did you port the part were the carby meets the manifold? looks like that -> o0 did you take bit out the middle of it?
  4. pffftttt bog and paint FTW. i want to do the RH wheel arch this weekend. sand it back. braze weld it. rust converter,bog, paint and maybe the other size aswell and leave the fuel filler another day edit - this muffler has last me more then 6 months LOL!

  6. hello how the f@$k are yah?? long time no update, currently running eb springs in the front witch handels like a dream! go kart ftw! drift racing seat installed. went down to my local crow cam joint and got some prices on serious cams! $110 for escort 1600 double valve springs and $60 for a cam grind. 3 - 7500 powerband. i rebuilt/balanced/ported the head and put a torquey cam with 5000rpm peak? wtf was i thinking! so once i finished rebuilding the cressida diff it'll become a daily till the slut gets a cam. 10:1 compression and some portage :D

  9. hahahah funniest shit ever. copper hiding behind the maccas sign with the radar gun. after 30mins of no c**t speeding, a s13 and jazz flew past in the opposite direction. :fuzz: cop took off axle tramping it across the road. we all bolt to our cars and took off. there also was a guy in a f@$king LOUD commodore waiting till they left aswell. :lolcry:

  14. out of the steering arms? try smacking the arms with a hammer. if that doesnt work, leave it for a hour then bash again
  15. in a ke30/55 the top heater hose is the 2nd highest part of the cooling system. with my blown headgasket 5k. (exhaust gases in coolant) temp would rise to 100 degrees till the thermostat would open the heater would all of a sudden get cold, cause all of the water out of the heater core was getting pushed out. pulled the water pump off? tried running no thermostat?

  18. ive talked to some customers that own vitos, all said iload is the way to go. ismart :wink:
  19. the time the mechanical gauge shows 100 degrees, the engine will more likey be way more and milky oil cap brings all the boys to the yard. digital ftw
  20. he got it thru his apprenticeship agency. i think it was around the $800 mark? my tool box has some imperial sockets/spanners. look brand new and havent used them in my 4 years of becoming a mechanic.. :rolls:
  21. front gaurds are plastic. there made in mexico for a reason, cheap labour
  22. throw that mechanical gauge away and buy a autotechnica digital gauge from autobarn for $50!!
  23. check "chillin's" build thread his got ae86 struts in his ke55, he had to drill out a new hole for the bottom stud
