  1. Do you meant what the bias is suppose to be? I think it is around 60% fr and 40% rear, and brake pad/shoe thickness has to be minimum 1mm
  2. Can still get genuine front windscreen seal, and side quarter windows so ill just get them, now just need to find someone with a NOS rear hatch one.
  3. the video sounds like a very angry k motor :worship:
  4. These are from rare spares.
  5. I can get a rubber kit but I'm not sure what is included in that? I really only need all the window seals and I'm pretty sure they are separate. https://rsp-secure.com/rarespares/default.asp?part_number=TOY9 otherwise all cars and seals are here http://www.rarespares.net.au/pricelists/PriceList.aspx?model=Toyota&car=35A
  6. Ye, ill just do the whole car white, might put in a little bit of pearl in the clear (nothing over the top). Also anyone know where I can get new window seals (all of them) and might want to get some new chrome trim bits that go around the window.
  7. well not as often as older cars, some new corollas I have noticed with the 6 speed when going in reverse but not very often, what I meant was that it happens in newer cars just gets worse when they get older.
  8. I'm still painting it white because the previous owner already did the door jams in white.
  9. completely normal, I drive new Toyota's every day and cars with under 10000kms
  10. Hey, I am going to respray my car but I'm not too sure what color I want to paint the bottom of my car (the bit on the bottom that is black atm) I was thinking black again but I want something different, maybe gunmetal Grey? or a really bright color would you be able to post up some pictures., or if anyone is good at photo shopping. Also what is a easy paint to use that doesn't require to be baked, or if the best result would be via baking are there any cheapish portable lights, I can't seem to find any online.
  11. Mine went from 9L/ 100kms (extractors 2" exhaust and drive economical) to about 15L/100kms of hard driving after I put the 38/38 synchronized Weber on (only just put it on though) ill drive it nice and economical and see how much I get, (running rich ATM wouldn't mind getting it dynoed or just install a o2 meter in the exhaust)
  12. stuff it ill just get some longer lcas and put them in I like the suspension the way it is atm.
  13. nah just the twin carbs and the head ect, cause I'm not going that way anymore. Anyway know anyone with corona or r31 LCA's Might put the cam in later when I find out what the exact specs are, will do a compression test first which I am hoping will be good (touch wood) if its as clean as my tappet cover was when i took it off it should be very good, engine only has 126xxxkms.
  14. or if anyone knows someone with r31 LCA's I might use them.
  15. would I be able to use 89 cressida LCA's?
  16. a easy upgrade (not for everyone though) is nissan silvia upgrade you get more camber (5 degrees I think) cheap coilovers, massive brake upgrade potential (skyline 4 piston calipers) but apparently it changes the steering geometry.
  17. should need pretty much the same parts.
  18. possible air leak, my ae92 with a 4afc had vacumm lines that where split and it ran like crap coughed sputtered and backfired.
  19. air leak? my old ae92 with a 4afc had 3 or 4 vacuum lines split and just went to drive it one day and it started fine but coughed and sputtered the whole way to work, then I replaced all the vacuum lines and it ran fine again.

  21. probably, lol I took my tappet cover off to reseal it while the car was off the road and it dead set looked like brand new!! BTW I bought a weber kit off ebay, brand spanker a tip if anyone ever buys a new carb get one fromn the states cause I saved $300 inc the delivery and it only took a week to get here! It's a synchronized carb to so no primary (low speed) or secondary (high speed) they both open at once, so it has more down low than a 32/36.
  22. Update, put on a 38/38 weber much better now will see how much fuel difference there is, I averaged 400-450 to 40L(10L/100kms) or over 500kms if I run the tank near dry (got 500kms with 4L still in the tank) got 100kms after the empty line :o
  23. I always stick the oil cap in the bonnet latch thing so I can't close it without the oil cap being on, but stupid old Camry's that have f@$ked bonnet struts nearly broke one once :)
  24. ive got extractors with 2" to and just over the diff with one muffler in the middle of the system and 3" straight pipe from the diff back, on my T18 with a 3t its not as loud as I thought it would be.
