  1. very early ke10?
  2. isn't a 13b classed as a 2.something L size engine an you can only have a 1.8L turbo engine or something like that. If that doesnt make sense sorry really tired out of my normal sleeping pattern.
  3. don't think you will be able to get a 20b regoed in qld.
  4. Also watched this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxtyfJLExzw So according to this video if the camber setting is correct at standard the steering inclination angle (king pin angle) should be normal. But that would mean when adding negitive camber to a car would change that angle but doesn't seem to do so in a bad way, unlike the supra coilovers which give positive camber and change the angle in a bad way to the alignment angles. Looks like i answered my own question, haha.
  5. was reading this King pin inclination is the transverse angle of the swivel axis of the front wheel and its stub axle. The effect of the inclination is usually discussed in terms of the king pin offset which determines the self centering torque when the steering is turned for cornering. Although many cars have a positive value of offset which tends to return the wheel to the straight ahead position, some modern cars have a negative offset to improve stability when the tire blows or the brake fails on one front wheel. Then read some more about it and another site said with the stub axle/spindle @ 90 degrees has a 0 deg kingpin inclination, which should be able to be changed with longer control arms and the camber tops I am getting. This seems like a good way to gain track without the massive camber gain from much longer lca's, I also have acess to a wheel alignment machine at my work so I should get it all sorted out fine. One other thing is the corona lcas have no steering stops and my std lcas do will this be much of a problem?
  6. Thats for medium duty truck handling.
  7. Its no race car so if it steers straight and I am getting corona lcas and camber tops so that should defiantly fix the camber.
  8. Also have corona lower control arms to go in.
  9. Hi, I bought some ma61 coilovers with brakes for my T18 and now I heard that they screw up your caster and give you either positive or negative camber? Tryed looking on the net and looked through a dozen threads on here and couldn't find anything. The picture is of the coilover I bought. Also have custom steering arms of ae86 PS length with the correct bolt spacing and rcas to suit as well.
  10. should be getting a reasonable 9-10L / 100kms My T18 gets about 11L - 100kms and I have a 38 38 weber carb, extractors, 2" exhaust, with a very tall ratio diff (4.8) and thats not trying to get any kind of fuel econamy just driving and having fun like it was made to do. But before all the mods it was getting 9L around town and 7 on the highway that was after a good tune up new plugs, adjusted points, ect.
  11. haven't driven mine for a week now!!! but getting new coilovers and new brakes + ae86 PS arms, some rcas, corona lcas and camber tops  Then swapping over that ridiculous 4.8 diff ratio for a taller but not as bad 4.3 standard is 3.9 Also might be getting some ra celica seats and get rid of these bulky bucket seats.
  12. current model hilux? I'll ask at work.
  13. if there anything like ca20's probably won't be too good, but do not have any personal experience with them just what I have herd from other people.
  14. if you can wait I can take a picture of how I did mine, I just used the factory clip type things. I'll take a picture tomorrow.Edit, can't really take a picture yet cause the rear of the car is jacked up, but I just used the factory retainers you can get them from toyota for a couple of dollars or from repco probably cheaper.
  15. if you have all thbits to put it in already just do that till it blows, pretty sure they run a W series box.
  16. They are out there try looking for kp61 starlet gearbox on trademe.co.nz otherwise just keep searching there out there.
  17. My car did that and found faulty leads, get someone to take it for a drive who knows what it kind of problem it sounds like i.e its not getting spark or not enough fuel, ect.
  18. 4 to 6 degrees NOT excessive! don't think you would need much more than 3 degrees for anything. If you want a little bit of camber sigma lca's should be a little bit longer than a ke20, might go straight in but can't say for sure, but pretty sure they are a bit longer. Then get some cambertops if your desperate for more camber, get some anyway so you can adjust it to equal camber on both sides.
  19. sure is
  20. There was one for sale on here I think might have been made from a rear visor thing.
  21. look for rust! but if its complete and for $400 well...
  22. was actually another guy working next to me but ye! was probably just over a meter long they had to call out some guy to come and get it.
  23. found a carpet snake under a air box on a 04 corolla at work once
  24. Old Nissan's are fine (with some exceptions) just like most older cars which where made to last unlike all these new cars some are still half decent though but not make like they used to be :(
  25. they shouldn't be too bad, but will not sit flush not with that offset... but you could get a new outer make up to fill those guards and have hellaflush wheels!
