  1. yep get some camber tops from here technotoytuning.com Measure your std strut top bolt distance and tell them what size you need.
  2. T18 strut tops are different to AE86 and KE70. T18/TE72 ones are an equilateral triangle and AE86 ones are kind of like a triangle but one stud is out to the side more, if you want some camber tops give Techno toy tuning a message as there are 2 different sized equatorial triangle between the early and late model T18's/TE72's.
  3. If you do a light roll on the front guards they should be fine with 0 camber, if you get 15x8 0offset get 195/50R15 tyres.
  4. Goodluck getting the ford struts in there, if you went S13 silvia front suspension you would be able to run more positive offset wheels, but like most people said just sell those wheels if they are brand new and get some smaller different offset wheels.
  5. pretty sure if your car has a padded center from the factory (pretty much most corollas) you have to have a steering wheel with one, but doesn't stop people obviously.
  6. There only 185/60R13's so not really wide, but yet to try to slide it properly, might have a go on the skidpan at the racetrack one Friday night. It's a bit hairy up in the mountains with the 2way LSD(tight TRD that has been shimmed further), if you don't rev match when down shifting rear wheels compression lock, haha.
  7. Some new pictures, new wheels on the front with -3 camber, got AE86 coilovers and JDM brakes, and 13x8 neg13 offset SSR Mk2's. Waiting on another pair from Japan for the rear.
  8. Try this http://www.exploroz.com/Vehicle/Tyres/SizeCalc.aspx Put in current tyre size and other one and see how far out they are.
  9. did 400kms today around 200 of steady 110kmh conttry driving and around 200 of redline hill climbing and windy roads, car was running for 5 hours straight, and used 34L of 98, car is a T18 with 3tc, 38/38 weber (synconized) and extractors pretty much the only mod, and still got 8.5L per 100km.
  10. I found that taking my time doing it by hand it looked much better than when I used a electric buffer. If your really keen one of the Lexus detailers at work leaves the polish on the car for 24hrs before rubbing off, apparently keeps it shiner for longer.
  11. even then an ae86 with a 4age will only go so far... If you have a XR6 it will make a good tow car, buy a cheap turbo silvia or skyline (my mate just picked up a sr20DET 180 for $2800, spent another $1200 on coilovers and takes it to the track and does his drifting all legally and he is still on P plates. Or if you must have a street regoed drift car an ae86 would probably be the best bet, then take it to the track every now and then, but you'll be struggling to keep with the bigger turbo cars on the track.
  12. I had some knipex pliers warranty is shit on them, took them 6 months to decide to replace my side cutters and never even got back to me about my long nose pliers.
  13. I like it (not really wheels though) I own one to so I'm a bit bias.
  14. Go snapon if you have the money, otherwise any of those brands you listed are great, I used a SP kit for over a year every day at work till I got my too allowance, then I retired that one to home and bought a KC 270 piece metric only tool kit and have been using it for nearly 6 months and its great, can't fault any of the tools. The only tools I'm not to keen on are kinchrome and maybe teng tools, but only because there not shiny, haha.
  15. I know what its like to not be able to drive one, ive been waiting for ages, stuffed around abit with suspension parts, now have one pair of my new wheels other pair coming from japan.
  16. or make a brake bleeder, just get something like an old brake fluid bottle (probably need 2 500ml bottles if your replacing the master cylinder and punch a hole in the lid of one and put some rubber/plastic/whatever flexable line you have/can get through the top and pu it over the bleeder nipple and then pump the brakes. Or even just something like this http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Vizibleed-One-Man-Brake-Clutch-Bleeding-Aid.aspx?pid=9500#Description
  17. do it... that is all
  18. Whats this money cheat?
  19. If you use ae86 power steering arms shouldn't be too much longer and then you have the option of ae86 brakes/other ae86 upgrades or corona struts then have vented brakes/ hilux/pug conversion/ supra brakes. Not sure how much longer ae86 PS arms are than ke30 ones.
  20. wow, I think you would have been better off not posting that, haha. How did you not see another car????
  21. nice, the 3 of us should go for a cruise some time, I'm getting some 13x8 -13 ssr mk2s for mine, have you got a build thread for yours?
  22. ra celica ones fit, monza bucket seats bolt onto some ke70 rails but sit too high for my liking.
  23. No worries mate, hope you get it on the car soon!
