Had a ball at Queensland Raceway tonight met some new people and slid the T18 legally was a bit of a shit driver but only the first time ive been on a track so will get some more practice.

What was it?

I welded a peice of stainless pipe at the back of my car before I got my exhaust done, just used mild steel rods worked ok not as neat as a mig but it worked.

even then most motorbikes are around 185 wide.

you can weld stainless with a stick welder, I used mine to weld stainless steel to mild steel and worked well. Not too messy either but not as good as a mig or tig! Just got to get the hang of a stick welder when its all you have at the moment and need to get it done.

I have done a few T series and hilux ones there not hard, only special too you need will be a dial gauge and maybe a tool to adjust the bearing preload and backlash all pretty much straight forward.

you probably can't find much or any info because they have already been proven to make plenty of power with a turbo setup. Otherwise will need to make a bracket for the charger, custom intake piping, setup the carby for it and jet and tune it or buy efi stuff, probably cheaper to go turbo?? or just go 4agze.

are you painting inside the door parts and around the inside of the hatch? or is it closed door respray?

Looks good, doing it in white again? otherwise if not what are you doing about the door jams?

Well the only other way is to get a new leafs made up custom so its stiffer and some better rear shocks, replace bushes its really not that hard to work it out, or if your good with a welder convert to coil sprung rear end, but by the type of questions your asking I wouldn't think so.

Like I said on the last one for mr KE30 drifter, replace every bush bigger or a rear swaybar (don't worrie about the front if your drifting) Leaf springs can be set up very well if done properly but will need to take the car somewhere to get new custom springs made which shouldn't cost too much, get some coilovers in the front then engine time. Seriously look up on Google what people do to make a car drift its not all that hard to understand.

very hard there is someone attempting this in an ae86 on ae86DC requires the chassis rails to be customized, and nuch other custom work more so than any other engine conversion.

3t's are cheap and have decent power, I took mine to the track and with a pretty much STD 3t with just a weber and exhaust, with LSD and slightly taller diff ratio could get 3rd gear going in the dry held 2nd better though. Please note though even though the engine is still pretty stock it has cost around 3k (probably more) for just suspension, brakes and LSD, then a bit more for the carby and exhaust, and then being a 30 year old car the rest of it requires constant matinance fixing up small things to make it better and/or safer, start off with simple things like replaceing all your 30+ year old bushes bigger rear sway bar, suspension, ect. Anything with wheels or tits will take your money.

id go 14's if not a nice set of 13's.

If you use a T18 crossmember it will fit, but then you have to go steering box if you want to make a a proper TE70, haha. Otherwise (not sure if it would be aloowed) Cut off the engine mounts off a T18, or anything with a T series engine and weld them onto your ke70 crossmember.

Just bore put a 7k then? that would be pretty close to 2L.

If I feel like some sort of faster paced driving I get out of the city and go out in the middle of nowhere, just like today I went for a drive up tamborine mt (not that great) then just kept going and going till the road ended, haha. Had some fun just driving I love driving my car! Just like the last few weekends been on some big long drives all over 5 hours and 350kms just out in the middle of know where, lots of fun and then during the week when driving to work or any other time I am driving I just feel relaxed and just cruise on down to work, haha. But I need my license for my job when test driving cars ect, so I cannot afford to loose my license, I would not loose my job but it is just a hassle getting other people to drive cars in for me, I know from just over a year of having to get people to do it from before I got my license.

I hate HIDs!!! there so annoying when coming towards you!! I think ill have to get some of those spot lights too. I have some brighter bulbs and they are better than the old ones, then just get some spot lights if you want heaps more lighting where ever you go!
