  8. true so if I get a ae71 crossmember I can bolt that straight in and ill pretty much have a bolt in steering rack conversion.
  9. 4age came out in JDM ae86 otherwise you could just use a 4age from a FWD AE82 corolla or AE92 corolla as well (I think) Otherwise if you end up going 3tc tell me how you did it because I want a steering rack and heard that if you use 3t engine mounts on a ae71 (4ac) crossmember it all bolts in.
  10. As much as I love the 3t in my T18 if you already have a 4ac it would be easier to put in a 4age.
  11. I think he was talking about the camry v6, ive seen it done in a ta22 so will fit in ke70 engine bay, just the usual troubles of putting a fwd engine in a rwd car.
  12. Picture from last night at Harry's Diner.
  13. My car spins the 15x8's on it now:) only have 195 wide tyres on it though.
  14. I got told 50/50 but no idea if thats true so don't go doing that :) Best to go to a paint shop to get your paint and primer I went with a mate and he got 4L of paint 4L of thinners, wax and grease remover and a mixing container with ratios written on the side for $200.
  15. If your after 195/50R15 tyres go to option one http://www.option1garage.com.au/default.htm they have 195/50R15 KUHMO tyres for $70 ea.
  16. Can get a JDM one imported for about $8000-10000 for a very good one but that is if you do most of the running around with compliance, ect. Otherwise you could get an import company to do all the work which I was looking at and would have cost $8500 for a ok condition JDM one.
  17. The wheels are Koya AE TEK's
  18. Thanks, means a lot to me I love my car :)
  19. Put my new wheels on and flared the front guards (not done yet)
  20. People who are in the right lane to turn and decide to go straight and cut in front of me in the middle of a very busy intersection (nudgee rd where you turn to go to the airport) also driving for an hour to get to toyota school (Toyota's version of tafe) only to fall half asleep during the theory work, luckily there is more practical this time.
  21. Spring retainers? I found a picture on the net.If thats them you can get them from toyota for about $1.50 each or something there ones from a hiace theyll know what you want if you bring in an old one.<br>
  22. Ive got 15x8 +-0 all round with 195/50R15 tyres on and hand flared the guards this way http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=29887&st=0&p=473536&hl=+guard%20+flaring&fromsearch=1entry473536
  23. If you do that it puts stress on your bearings, but its up to you.
  24. Both throats open at the same time mechanically (no secondaries twin primary), and it made a very noticeable difference they give more down low than a 32/36 as well.
  25. what offset are those? get some better tyres and if your going to put flares on you may aswell just cut most of the stock wheel arch flare off and mold those ones onto your guard otherwise just flare them, I did mine and got both sides flared and one side nearly done (minus painting) in about a day. But it took longer because there was some very thick paint that cracked off.
