  1. WGMG - RUST!!! (and yes I know it has probably been posted before but there it is....what you going to do......unless your a moderator who can change anyone's posts but bah to that) Elephants may be blue chairs, but can they sing? Yep still works, still have the ability.... :D
  2. For the money and repetitiveness I'd look into something else mate, look into a Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrical apprenticeship, best place to go is a Training scheme sort of thing. Like I'm a bit unsure if your have them where you are but in adelaide we have the MTA and other companies to get you into an apprenticeship and train you aswell. Goodluck.
  3. Hey guys, got another update (no picts so a little boring). Things have gone a bit south.....the front right hand side of the car has been in a major crash (before i bought it) and what I think they've done is welded the front end of another car on which has thrown everything on the front off. Also after seeing what's involved in getting the plenum in front of the windscreen out to get to the rust I started to worry that it's way too much of a project. And also there is a farely hefty rust hole in the back left pillar which will require alot of attention....but there is hope, a fellow member contacted me a little while ago about his ke35 for sale with no engine or trans. Went down to have a look and is a MUCH better starting point than the one I've got. So I'll be picking that up next week and scrapping my original car. So bad news with good news which is good.
  4. Awesome, thanks for that.
  5. Oh yeah Totally forgot that I increased the idle to keep the 5k going....my bad.....Where's the left hand side photo's?
  6. Cheers, looks pretty good from the side, just as long the height of the car matches I guess. Was going to upload the picture from your ride thread but is showing some error. Do you know the offset of the wheels or?
  7. There 15x7 SSR longchamps, was looking at some SSR MK1's but they got sold so. Want that style of wheel though and I reckon the longchamps would look good. I got 14x6 dragway splats with 185/65R14's at the moment and they fill the guards nicely, unsure of the offset but the rear right tyre scrubs but that is entirely due to suspension at the moment.
  8. Hey guys, normally I PM someone for this but thought I'd put it out there this time. I'm looking at buying some rims for me ke35 build and have seen some nice 15x7's with this description "15x7 +11, 15x7 -1, 4x114.3" Will these be alright in regards to the struts and guards when turning and what not? Cheers
  9. You need a base picture to start cause there is more than 1 truck in the world..... :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR8eP9CAQPg Some funny moments, bit of a Charlie Sheen fan.
  11. There is no bad angle.....Nice car man, looks great the way it is :y: :y:
  12. I know man, and it's all mounting up aye......such a massive list of things to do and also cash to save.
  13. Just another update:
  14. I'm beginning to think this is a current member with a new profile just trying to stir us up....Who doesn't know what EFI is?
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_fuel_injection http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_K_engine http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Main_Page
  16. Depends on a few factors, but I think (and just a thought) that Engineered and going will be over 6 grand easy, people will correct me or add onto this in time.
  17. That's f@$ked man, so hard to hear that about another coupe....just cause they are so awesome! People like that are f@$ked in the head. Goodluck with your new/current project man.
  18. Mega sad face....Sounds like my kinda cruise, maybe next time :sob:
  19. Sorry but that is by far the stupidest question I have ever seen on rollaclub......What the hell do you reckon would be more fun a 2.0L DOHC 140HP motor or a 1.166L Pushrod 84HP (if you have the 3K-B) motor. Why are people using the sr20? Cause it's easy to get heaps of power out of them and there are endless suppliers of aftermarket accessories for them. Oh and Welcome to Rollaclub.
  20. And Magnitude of spark
  21. Greater spark to create a cleaner and better combustion, no parts that wear out as often or at all. Easier to modify ignition timing to accomodate different driving environments.
  22. It depends on the condition they normally go from 300 to 400.
  23. Either the site is down now or my comp is blocking it.
  24. Unfortunately I built mine for points pick up and I'll be running reluctor pickup when I get my 5k going in about 3 months :blinks: Will sell my current one and build another one for reluctor pickup, soonish.
  25. Has anyone installed one of the "programmable ignition system" on their car, I've built one and tested it just not installed and run it.
