  1. 28th of October or November? If it's November I'm coming, I may not have my car ready by then but I'll come just to check it out. Maybe I'll bring the blue keto for the lulz?
  2. They're not the same. Leo I forgot to get you that price on one, I can assure you they are not $1200, more like $180. For a Tridon branded ignitor anyway. I'll give them a call soon.
  3. Just called them, they want $264 for the pair of complete XT130 struts with hubs, rotors, and calipers. Seems reasonable I guess but I'd rather spend that money on other stuff.
  4. I'm down for this too. I think your car will need the fuel lines redone to pass any kind of proper scrutineering lol
  5. Balls! It's a self serve wrecker right?
  6. Okay sweet. Thanks, I might give them a call tomorrow. I was after some MA61 seats because they rule.
  7. Any MA61s? I would like some XT130 struts, but I'm poor. Anyone got any idea on what a wrecker would charge for a piar of struts?
  8. I reckon Reed would go... if he ever gets his KE70 running properly :D lol
  9. That's awesome! Congratulations.
  10. You guys, Jake and myself? Does anyone else on RC and in the Brisbane area have a Corolla track car?
  11. I don't think they make Superlites in a 9, they must be 15x10 -12.
  12. Yeah the track in your 10 is wild. How are you going to fix that?
  13. What time is the movie?
  14. There's probably 2% of the hellaflush/stretch/poke-loving crowd that are actually into it because of the potential increase in steering angle.
  15. Exactly the wheel/tyre size I want on my car: 15x7 with a 205/50 Sits so well, none of this stretch/hellaflush/poke bullshit. By the way, isn't this Glenpos' car? It's on ebay at the moment...
  16. OP said his car budget was $1000, but his entire build budget was $10000. I just thought I'd add in here, if you do this conversion properly and buy new parts (fuel pumps, clutch, cooling system, other parts that you really should replace when putting a 20 year old engine into a 30 year old car) you will most likely not be able to do it for under $3000. I've got receipts for around $1500 in parts that I bought new, and probably more receipts that I can't find. I get my parts cheap through work too. Then I had to buy the engine, gearbox, engine mounts, gearbox stays, headers + new exhaust, custom intake manifold, engine cross-member, gearbox cross-member, gearbox mount, gearbox sandwich plate, hydraulic pedal box, speedo drive and a tailshaft or 4. All second hand parts that are way overpriced. All the guys you see who say they have done the conversion for less than ~$3000 have either got an awesome deal on an engine or conversion package, not kept track of how much they actually spent, or they have ended up with a dodgy piece of crap car that doesn't work properly.
  17. Those switch and relay panels are really neat. Nice job.
  18. I can dig it. Are they new headlights?
  19. ^reminded me of this: If you can't see the title it says "engineering students see hot girls dance for the first time" Seriously so funny. The guy in the blue shirt!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev07SGYzfZw&playnext=1&list=PLC946B1F760FFD5C5&feature=results_video
  20. what about metal filler? Or just keep sanding/polishing until it goes smooth?
  21. How I don't get bored when I have to study:
  22. I am so sick of that JDM bullshit. Especially when people say something like "that guy is so JDM". Oh really? Was he sold in Japan? Edit: Exactly like that video^ where he says "I'm JDM". Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh git farrked
  23. ʞ©$ɟ all.
  24. I have standard AE86 steering arms in my brown KE70 and AE86 power steering arms in my blue KE70, ask me how much difference the extra steering angle makes for normal road driving ;)
  25. How the hell do you afford all this stuff? You just finished school! I hate you.
