  1. There shouldn't be power at both pins should there? One of the pins from each injector is earthed to the inlet manifold and the other pin from each injector joins to the interior half of the loom near the coil and dizzy plugs. Check the second half of post #312 in my thread to see where the injectors get their power from: http://www.rollaclub...d/page__st__300
  2. First! lol Edit: this car is cool. Does it have a 3k or 4k?

Dude that's wild! And that Honda 250.. zomg do want!
  15. If anyone wants a tool chest or a roll cabinet, go to Supercheap Auto right now. All Calibre (the orange ones) tool chests and roll cabs are 1/2 price! Just bought a 7-drawer roll cab for $270 and I'm real happy about it. Couldn't fit it in the car though :lolcry:
  16. What happened to the original body loom?
  17. The T3 upper spring seat with the needle bearing is good, I've been using them for a while. Not only do they take the load off the bearing in the camber plate, but they allow the spring to twist up as it compresses, which is what springs do.
  18. Keep the entire donor car until you've 100% finished the conversion into the AE71, that way you cannot forget any parts. I found that when I did my 4AGE swap I was constantly going back to the donor car to pull out some random part that I needed. By the way what dampers does the AE93 have? If they are good ones I might be interested in buying them from you (only if they are the strut insert type, not the complete strut type)
  19. Well that depends on what you want to do with the car: If you want to hit the track, go for an adjustable XT130/AE86 coilover set up up front, either off the shelf or custom made. Note that adjustable coilovers are usually illegal, also quite expensive. And get some lowered springs for the rear, then find some short stroke rear dampers (VL-VS Commodore rear damper are a good length). If you just want to lower the car cheaply, get some lowered front springs (heaps of options for AE86 that will fit, try www.ajps.com.au), don't worry about changing front dampers as the only dampers that fit are MR2 AW11 rears and they require customisation of the strut tubes to fit, you may as well go for the adjustable coilover option. And get some lowered AE86 rear springs as well, plus VL-VS Commodore rear dampers.
  20. Dude, your car already has shocks, what are you talking about? Don't cut your springs because it's illegal and they don't seat properly in the spring perch, buy lowered springs. Otherwise cool car, please don't ruin it ;)
  21. This has a 4K? It must be the slowest car in the world! ... and that's awesome!
