It's been a while since I looked at my loom so I may be wrong but here's what I think the plugs are: In the forth picture, the yellow plug near the water inlet looks like a map sensor plug or air temp sensor plug. In the fifth picture, the black one pin plug looks like the power for the injectors, blue two pin plug looks like the plug that goes to the noise suppressor thing near the coil and that would mean the green plug is the dizzy plug (all the dizzy plugs I have seen are yellow??) In the sixth picture, looks like the cold start injector plug (could be TVIS but TVIS is normally a bluey green plug?), though it's hard to say without seeing where it is on the loom.

  9. Riley is right, you will need those AE86 parts to put AE86 coilovers into a KE70, plus AE86 hubs and caliper brackets. However I thought I might add that those front coilovers you posted the link to will not work without original AE86 struts (AE86 strut tubes are 51mm diameter whereas KE70 struts are 45mm(?) plus KE70 hubs/brakes/steering arms do not fit up to AE86 struts) as the Megan coilovers don't have a stub axle, you have to modify your original struts by cutting off the strut tube and welding the coilovers to the stub axle. Taken from the Megan Racing website: "NOTE: Original spindles must be modified and welded onto the lower front brackets, similar to coil-over setups for the AE86 chassis. The front lower brackets are made of steel for this purpose."

  18. It's all good, I have since discovered (firsthand) that K40, K50, AE71 T50 and T18 T50 speedo cables are all the same, but AE86 T50 speedo cables are different.
  19. Are they still available brand new in 15x8 +12? Can't find it on their website.
  20. Does anybody else really like Buddy Club P1s? I want a set so badly, they exist in 15x8 +12 too!

    I think the 16v sandwich plates are also pressure operated. Like this with a valve to stop flow when it's cold. Thanks for the input Dave.

    ^Could be cool, though I only have space for 3 gauges (water temp, oil press, oil temp). I could run 2 sensors with 1 gauge and have a switch to switch between the 2 sensors, but effort. What do people think about using one of these to put the oil temp sensor in the oil cooler line: I would just need to find a way to earth the sensor. I could use a sandwich plate under the filter but I already have the factory 4AGE oil cooler sandwich plate there, and having 2 sandwich plates would probably push the oil filter out too far and it would foul on the headers.

    I also wanted to know if anyone had installed an oil temp sensor before? I was thinking of either putting the sensor in the oil cooler lines like this guy did: http://inlinethumb54.webshots.com/42549/2511867990042310107S600x600Q85.jpg or tapping a thread into the sump and putting it there. I guess the advantage of putting the sensor in the oil line is it's just before the oil cooler so the gauge will read the oil's hottest temp, but it could leak. Whereas putting it in the sump will be less likely to leak, but the gauge will read the oil's temp after the cooler. Opinions?
