  1. Start up doesn't count, first one to get the car to actually drive wins!
  2. Holy shit! If that happened to me I would never get under my car ever again. People die from that.
  3. I might buy one of those surge tanks if I can't be bothered to make my own, does it fit up beside the fuel tank under the car?
  4. So much coolness!
  5. Please sir, may we have some more pictures?
  6. I'm sure they know what they've got... a shitty car :D
  7. ^Is that in Birsbane??
  8. In before Reed posts a picture of Homer Simpson.
  9. haha that's low!
  10. Ohh so that's a picture of the spacers and not the section you cut out of the strut?
  11. Dude they look schmick! How long are they from top to bottom? You took a lot out of the strut. How come you didn't weld the sleeve at the top as well?
  12. I think mine will be done for around $2500. I was making a list of what I'd spent but I forgot to maintain it. It goes a little something like this: Complete AE82 4AGE BP Seca - $1000 HD Exedy clutch kit - $250ish Gearbox, gearbox crossmember, AE71 crossmember, tailshaft - $350 Engine mounts (metal and rubber) - $100 Engine backing plate - $50ish Clutch fork, bearing etc - $50ish EFI pump + lift pump - $220 Surge tank - friend is making it for beer (barb fittings will cost money) RWD intake - friend is cut 'n' shutting it for beer Exhaust manifold - $250 Pedal box, clutch hard line - $100 Braided clutch line, banjo bolt - $50 Clutch master cylinder - $60 Clutch slave cylinder - $30 Spigot bearing - $5 Probably another few hundred on EFI hose, bolts, coolant hoses, fittings etc. And that's just to get the engine in and running, I've spent thousands upgrading other parts of the car like suspension and brakes. I'll probably have spent easy $5000-$6000 on the car by the time it's done/in a state I'm happy with.
  13. WGMG: Uni, I'm over engineering already. Who on here is a civil engineer (or similar) and can fill me in on what it's like to be an engineer in comparison to what it's like to study to be an engineer, because studying to be an engineer sucks butt.
  14. A hipster wouldn't even use smilies, too mainstream.
  15. ^ You look like this:
  16. Since we're ranting about douchebags asking too much for their shitty KE70s, who is the ʞ©$ɟing waffle who bought this for $5000? http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/60477-1982-ke70-toyota-corolla-wagon-low-kms-2nd-owner-great-condition/
  17. I think he roller the inner lip of the guard flat. But that would have been the most he did, other than the the guards were standard.
  18. My friend has 16x7 0 offset on his KE30 with no trouble, though I'm not too sure how similar KE30 and KE55s are in the suspension department.
  19. :o
  20. ^LOL! You get negative JDM points if the PS controller is made in China. So when does the engine swap start? Have you got the loom yet?

That tank is ideal, however my friend is (hopefully) going to make me one because he's a boss at welding. Which will be good as we'll be able to make it specific to the available space under the car, as well as using the size of fuel barbs we want to go with the fuel pumps and lines. But if it doesn't work out I'll probably just buy the one you posted so thanks for the link.
