  1. I've noticed this too, I found some of the pictures with google images search, so they are still there but just aren't coming up in the FAQ/Wiki.
  2. All the fibreglass work is really cool!
  3. Is this serious? I can get my money back?
  4. Lol nahhh, it's kind of bozo? I can dig it.
  5. Pretty sure it just means it the coolant will have a higher boiling point with the 1.1 bar cap than the 0.9 bar cap. I'm not sure that it would make that much of a difference in pressure on your cooling system. 1 bar = ~15psi 0.2 bar = ~3psi So I guess that means a 3psi increase on your cooling system, unless I'm missing something? I can't really see 3psi making that much of a difference on the boiling point, but it should be a bit higher than that of the 0.9 bar cap. I'd say it's more likely you lost pressure through the leak in the water pump and the drop in pressure caused it to boil, or the fact that you lost all your coolant :o
  6. Where are you? I have a white AE82 Seca SX front bumper that I would sell. I'm in Brisbane/ northern NSW. This is the bumper on the car:
  7. I'm so confused by your fuel setup. Does it go tank > surge tank > lift pump > pressure pump? Edit: never mind, I just read that you only set it up like that just to get it going.
  8. According to the Protex catalogue, the AE86 4AGE (rwd) waterpump is the same as the AE82 4AGE (fwd) waterpump. Although the rollaclub FAQ/Wiki says they are different and it depends on which fan you are running. Check it - http://www.rollaclub...s/Cooling_Guide
  9. That can't be right, Ground Control coilover kits use Eibach springs and they are < $200 for the whole kit. That must be a typo for the price of those Eibachs in that link.
  10. I thought it was to allow hot air out of the engine bay? That's why I thought it would defog your windscreen :lolcry:
  11. Holy crap! That's wild. I'm interested to know if this stops your windscreen fogging up.
  12. Nice one.
  13. Awesome!
  14. Time for an O2 sensor?
  15. You probably already have it, but if I was having this problem I'd be all over this: http://mitchee.com/ae82/4A-GEManual.pdf
  16. Holy shit! So many cool parts.
  17. Getting close?
  18. ʞ©$ɟ bitches KE70s get money KE20 word yo?
  19. ...Yeah you should buy an Excel. But seriously, have you run it in diagnostic mode? Was this engine wired using the original AE82 wiring harness?
  20. Does it do that when the engine is hot? Like if you tried to start it again after it had already been running for a while?
  21. So is the engine running properly now? Water temp sensor install looks good. I think I'm going to install mine like that too.
  22. These are all different voltage coils? GT40T coils are 12v, GT40R and GT40RT are 6v/9v(one or the other, I can't remember?) And I thought the GT40 and GT40T were both 3ohm coils and the GT40R and GT40RT were 1.5ohm coils? I've been running a GT40, the oil filled type, with an electronic distributor for ages without any problems. Though I've heard the GT40T, the resin filled type, can be unreliable. Just what I've heard, I've never actually used one.
  23. How does that even work?
  24. ^Aren't they just the dust boot? Last quote I got to overhaul calipers was around $130-$140 per caliper and that was with the stainless insert.
