Sorry for hijacking the thread; while we're on this topic, is there any problem with having 2 separate modplates for 2 different states? Because I spend half my time in Brisbane and the other half in Northern NSW, and I'd rather spend money on the modplates than spend money on the fines.

If you can get your hands on AE82 SX twincam stalks they are already bent to account for the offset wheel, other than that they look exactly the same as the KE70 ones. I'm planning on taking them from my donor AE82 SX and putting them into my KE70.

Wow! More pics of these please. I'm very interested to see how your suspension setup goes together, I've heard rumours of AW11 rear dampers fitting KE struts but never actually seen it done. Are KE1* struts 48mm? Do you know the dimensions of the AW11 dampers?

Just a heads up, you'll have a very hard time fitting that ebay surge tank under the car. I struggled to get a 100x100x100mm one under there, I had to put a significant dent in the fuel tank to fit it because it was too wide and too tall, the length however is not a problem if you run it perpendicular to the car between the tank and the upper panhard rod mount.

Its not worth the effort, you will spend more money putting a 4AFE into your KE70 than you will putting a 4AGE in it. There is a reason no one has done it... You may as well go 20v 4AGE if you're going to go to that much effort. Edit: If you don't have much money you should consider a 5K swap, they go reasonably well and the engine conversion couldn't be easier. And to answer your 4AFE RWD related questions: I'm going to go with no, but only because I'm not sure what you're actually asking. And I don't mean to be rube but try to employ these guys, they might be able to help us help you:
