aaah nothin wrong with good ol' GTX2... cheap n cheerful... Just ignore the woeful racket from the timing chain before the tensioner builds up pressure and get a catch can if you're gunna get enthusiastic :)

This is a copy of early 70's Castrol colours race at Bathurst.

That AE82 4WD "Conquest" looks kinda a bit Group B-ish... Wow!!!

 

The model from TE37.org... I didn't think they made a "works" 37.

 

The TTE works colours from the 70's and early 80's weren't actually that nice or special... I was going to build a KE30 rally car, and it was going to have the previously mentioned Castrol "War paint" ie, the green and red 'swirls', that were on the late 90's Celicas....

have you seen the TRD rally car that david from norway is copying, i think its awesome. Its in one of his threads.

There is no TRD anywhere near 'that' car... Its 100% TTE (Toyota Team Europe)!! The Group-B Celica Twin-cam Turbo. And David's 70 is gonna look fly once its done!! I've been keeping an eye on its progression, and I can't wait... He needs to make fibre-glass moulds of the guards to sell them to other people tho!!
