cuzzo Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 wow really? /don't know if serious... If the box is low on fluid it will not drive anywhere. the fluid must be checked with car running and up to temp. Quote
ke70dave Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 i dunno, like i said, never had anything to do with autos... when on the side of the road i just applied the "well my engine needs to be turned off to check the sump oil, surely its the same for the automatic transmission" logic. interestingly it turned out to be an exploded CV joint causing all the drama. 160bucks and back on the road! i think they found a leak in the auto though, so hopefully that keeps them truckin'. carbonboy Posted January 18, 2012 Report Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Shane Warne can kiss my sorry white lycra clad arse. +1  So Warnie had a run in with a cyclist in St Kilda... a cyclist in St Kilda? No way! That's like saying I went into a pub & ran into a drunk guy... Take your registration idea & jam it back up your a**e where it came from. Newsflash Warnie, 99% of cyclists own (at least) one car, we do pay registration. Okay it's for the car but hey, it's not like we're doing it completely free. We also risk our lives for the sake of the environment, our bank accounts & our general fitness. Anyone who says riding your bike to/from work isn't life threatening, hasn't ridden along Ballarat Road at 4.45pm on a Friday. Another newsflash, there's written laws regarding cyclists on the roads, may I suggest he reads them & if his pitiful, tiny, diuretic taking, drunken dancing, 'weather information' payment taking, botox injecting, *cough* partner stealing *cough* brain can cope, understand them. :) Edit: /end rant. All depends what car it is, some require it off, some require it running in park or neutral and others want it running and in gear. Which joint, inner or outer? Quote

Trev Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 WhatGrindsMyGears Incompetent farking dealership 'mechanics' yesterday I sold some shafts to one of the local dealers and this morning they call and say 'these are the wrong parts, they don't fit' ok bring them back with one of your old ones and I will see what I can do. They bring them around and I measure and count the old shaft and do the same for the new one and ask what the problem is as they are the same and the reply was 'oh they wouldn't fit and the new one was longer before' Like really, what the fark do you kunts get taught apart from servicing a car?
