rian
Just bought 3 meters of 2" exhaust pipe, a 12" resonator and a couple of flanges for $60! I might buy a catalytic converter and a high-flow/straight through muffler when I have more money, or just use the shitty muffler that I have. towe001
For a cat, go to the wreckers and dig up a late model v8 commodore for a high flow cat.

rian
For a cat, go to the wreckers and dig up a late model v8 commodore for a high flow cat. Exhaust diameter will probably be too big, I'm only going for a 2" system. I'll just get a new Lukey high-flow cat from work, they're only about $100. LittleRedSpirit
Getting back to what AUDM said. You must have a cat if your motor came out with one. The chassis has nothing to do with it.
towe001
Welcome to Christmas. The one time of the year that i'd like to be Mormon, or is that Muslim, its one or the other that doesn't believe in christmas. If the motor came with a cat then it'll have to have the cat in which ever vehicle its fitted into. The only time you can get away without the cat is to run the vehicle on lpg only. Getting back to what AUDM said. You must have a cat if your motor came out with one. The chassis has nothing to do with it. You said it better then what i did. But running full time lpg is the only way to legally get around running without a cat.

Will be ordering a cat then, and a straight through muffler if I can afford it.

It has nothing to do with a p-plate ban, making them all drive a hybrid prius wouldn't change it.
GJM85
Its just a ʞ©$ɟed up world we live in. People learn very quickly through experience. Unfortunately not all survive it.
