ke70dave Posted January 15, 2013 Report Share Posted January 15, 2013 My brother just bought a 2005 subaru liberty b-spec wagon. Â features include. Â 6clr boxer leather interior monster sunroof 6speed manual (proper manual) all the mod cons (cruise control, climate control, HIDs i think) some sort of factory fancy sound system, 13 speakers apparently, with subwoofer in the side of the boot bilstein suspensions 18" wheels. 70,000kms or so it a wagon, so the boot is HUGE (hes a musician, so he got the wagon). Â and he paid.....$16k! Â I had a drive of it yesterday, and it has got to be one of the best all round cars i have driven. Â The 6clr combined with 6 speed is beautiful, i don't think its as fast as my wrx, but i think the "surge" of power from the 6clr (and shorter 6 speed ratios) certainly feels fast thats for sure. the ride is quite....sporty, with the bilstein shocks, but its not uncomfortable, but yeah its certianly a bit stiffer than normal. could be the 18" wheels making it a bit more harsh as well. Â And the BEST part, all the guages, they do the thing where when you turn on the car they all go to 100% then back to 0%. Race car style! haha. Â But for 16k, man you get alot of car for 16k.
