hey guys yes its very much NOT stock, it pulls hard to 9500rpm i got the limiter set to 9k but rarely push it to that, only need to rev it to just under 8k to get all the power.

 

its all back together now i just gotta adjust the clutch cable and take it for a spin with the new box, its wet today tho hmmm its one skatey mofo in the wet lol

on the 25th, two weekends away for simmons, ill be racing at this one now i have my licence back, plus we have track time till 7pm saturday night. so there will be lots of races.

cool looking forward to it, i took the car round the block today and your gearbox is fine nick shifts good.

haha, soon justin soon. got the oil pressure sender unit out of my wrecked ke70 and put it in just need to wire up a gauge and thats the oil pressure gayness issue sorted... hopefully

engine is out of it atm, getting a brand new bottom end pretty much...

 

it had some blow-by smoke and upon inspection of the internals it has a damaged piston and also the crank is worn out from a bearing coming out and sitting in the sump

 

so new crank to be balanced and lightened

new block to be bored out

new set of pistons etc

the head is in perfect condition which was great news as its really the masterpiece of the engine lol

 

can't wait to get it on the track now!! hehe

I'm curious in how its positioned upright, the manifolding etc.

135bhp is around 99kw.thats huge figure for a 3K even if its not stock.

Have just joined rollaclub and came across what looks like my old car. Last time i saw this car it was blue! Used to own it ( Sold it in 1997 to a guy in Launceston , Worst thing i've ever done ) When i bought it was a road car . Found all the race bits and converted back to race car . Also fitted Watts link which was from a Sports sedan . Got down to 1.10.9 at Symmons. Think you may have sold it ,been told it is in Turners Beach now.
