we lowered my mates rolla the other day, the problem is that he has 14 x 7 ceterlines with a phat as off set, and because of how wide and low it is now the wheels rub on the fruont gaurds with only a slight turn, what can we do to stop or lessen the rubbing. as you can see it is quite low sorry about how filthy it is, bit of a dirt drifter

yeah got the box, exhaust an also the tail shaft last night, it's all coming along prity quickly for someone thats on student ceterlink payments.

igot the ca18 last night, it only got 12800-km on the clock, hich is cool, but you can never be sure with those damn japs swapin dashes, but i saw it driving and it goes all right. due to complacations with the celica box i think I'm going to use the silvia box, when you say the hole has to moved 5 inches back do you mean it has to made 5 inchs longer

if your in melbourne you can look at mine, i've got a 3t-c in my ke55, there similar bottom ends (think ther the same) and thats the bit that counts, its not only the engine that you'll have to worry about though, there is the brakes and suspension, it wont get engineered with out them, you may even need some stuctural strengthening. hoppers stoppers do a brake kit for ke30,55 rollas, 300mm rotors, pbr calipers $1200, $1300 for slotted rotors, $1400 for sloted and cross drilled, plus $220 for new master cylinder. these will pass engineers in vic, but very expensive.

not sure what i'm doing with boxes anymore, spoke to the bloke that is rebuilding my box, sadly it is r##ted six ways to sunday

i'll be using standard dash now i think, because i'm using the celica box, its to much crap to deal with electronic stuff in the CA speedo

i've got the 3t in my ke55, it goes alright, has more touque that a 4k, pulls fairly hard, the engine aparantly only needed it mods to the mounts ( i think it only requires a hole drilled out a bit) ant he cross member will bolt in with the holes moved back bought the car like it but it looks fairly staight forward, yuo have to be careful with the clutch as i think it is a hydrolic one, i've got a celica box in mine to keep the cable one you could always put the 2t-g head on it, it'll sing then.

when we think back it really wasn't worth the 3.55 seconds of fun (yes i did the math (I'm so board)) car is obviously running well, i should get engine this weekend, i talked to my mate and it looks like ill be getting the loom, computer, fuel pump, instrament panel, and a set of stainless extractors which is cool. whats the go on getting a fuel pump in a ke55 tank, or do you replase the hole tank? ;)

:) you and i are in the same boat, i lost my licence 3 weeks ago from fines over 8 months ago :y:
-
yes me of all people must be careful not to get carried away, already lost over ten grand on my little pulsar, but what else can i spend my money on :y: oh prgress may be very slow over the next six weeks as i broke my arm last night, yay :)
-
one of my mates ex girlfriends had a solid (steal) sunroof in her n12 pulsar, it popped up and was also fully removable, one of these still sunroofs would stop all problems with the sun when you didn't want it blearing in it would aslo be the same colour as the car (appart from the seal)

well, after a lot of hard thinking (man it hurt) and talking to some engineers i've decided that i'm not going to let this oppertunity side through my fingers. the ca18de comes out of the silvia this weekend, so the two week break coming up will most likely be spent measuring it all out so that it all fits properly. i'm also geting the brakes off the wrecked s13 that my mates raping for it's engine, most likey getting the fuel lines and pump to play with as well. its going to be fun, will keep you all up dated. pozman

my aunty had one in her ke35, it was cool but that was a long time ago and can't really give details after market sun roofs can take away from the rigidity (spelling?) of the car, not that a 30 year old car is that rigid any way, maybe somthing to ponder on

if the wheel is really hard to get off, as they normally are, leave the bolt on a few turns, but only enough to protect the tread, then "lightly" hit it with hammer while pulling it, should come off easy then :ninja:

edited post to try and make it a bit more readable yaeh i think its deffenatly going in mine now, my mate lost his licence last night and therefore his income :ninja:

i also found out the other day, comon sence really, but, the bluer the light the more it reflects rain and fog, thats why they make the yellow fog lights :D makes me wonder why they make the blue fog lights :faq:

hi people, i have resently come into contact with a very cheap ca18de with a box :faq: , that ill either be puting in my or my mates ke55. i have a rebuilt celica box in my car and apartently i can use tis so that the shifter comes thru the original hole, so does anyone know of a good engineer in melbourne and a good shop to get an adapter plate made for the celica box. also will the brakes need to be upgraded, i know its a good idea too and will be one day but wondering if a have too any help would also be very welcome, ( please help i'm not sure whether to put it mine or my mates) paul :D

i think the fluter is due to compesser surge and not so much the wastegate, but it is sure to kill the turbo. sad how slowly killing a turbo has become the "cool" thing to or car lately. i.e. VL turbo
