yeah mines fairly similer, I'm using a faset/puralator carby pump (same thing as a lift pump) it flows 35 gallons an hour witch works out at 2.2 liters a minute this pump is designed to suck fuel out of the tank and supply a carb v8 so should heaps of fuel for a nasp four pot
-
I also ordered my christmas pressy off my aunty and uncle aswell, personalized plates!! check them out

started to put the fuel system together today. brought a electric carby fuel pump for a lift pump. did this as it will nt have to be in the tank and is self priming. its basically a high volume/low pressure pump flows 2.2 litres a min. at 4-7 psi so should be enough considering that it will empty my fuel tank in 20min also got my surge tank aswell and started to orginize the boot and how it will sit in there ordered the main pump, i only got a vl pump for now, but the surge tank has two outle6ts so if i end up needing more fuel down the track i can just run a second pump, should be in tomorrow hopefully then i can finish it all off (the fuel area that is)

muller, you wont really need fifth gear on this cruze man, its the great ocean road, you'd be lucky to get out of 3rd -
if it is a road going car id be careful putting the surg in the engine bay as i think it may not be road worthy, and if its a race car id also check with the scruteneers

lenso make good wheels, fairly well priced too. if they were like those ones they were most likely C5's or concept fives depending on who you talk to

-
yeah i'm using xt130 corona struts, with pugeot rotors and most likely silvia calipers. getting them choped down and thinking i may get them coverted to adjustable ride height at the same time. maybe
-

don't go astron, but definately go twin cam, have a look around and see what you can find thats got good power that s not too big and heavy. it always helps going down a proven route to, that way there is help out there when you have troubles or need some advice. are you doing the coversion yourself?
-
funnilly enough the engine bay isnt as empty as i thought it would be, there a very small engine
-
fifth in my pulsar died aswell, the owner of the box before me did it, don't know how he did it though :) on a better note, i got the CA started today, it was something to do with the aac valve thing on the manifold i was fiddling around with it, and got a few fires, but didnt know why, so i pulled some shit off it, then forgot to put it back on and it started. then i pluged the soleniod back on and it didn't. so don't know whats wrong with the soleniod but it starts now and I'm happier than a pig in shit. :hmm: neiboughs must love me. theres no exhuast at all and then there was me screaming in joy when it did start (also alot of swearing and carrying on when it wouln't work) hehe
-
fark man you are insane, that make more sence now is it hard to get it started or what, and what feul are you running?
-
i've always wanted to make a turbine engine, but never had the expertese or the equipment as a young feller. just looking at your photos though, whats the go with the set up, ie with the thruster facing out the side?
-
alright ill check the injectors tomorrow see whats going on there. i also need a gear stick if anyones got one they don't need. finding a celica in this area is going to be a pain, ill have to keep my eyes open. are the later model ones any good or is it best if its a ta22, i thought they had a cable clutch, as my old box is suposed to be out of a ta22?
-
damn it, i was hoping that that was all it was, must be some bigger underlining problems then it only the injecters that are playing up just not giving me fuel
-
i think the expense in the new spring part is to get them fitted. ie. remove the unit, put new springs in, then put unit back in diff? maybe?
