  1. hi, as most of you know, i'm under going a ca18de conversion on my rolla. what i need is a wiring diagram for a s13 or a ca18 at worst. any help would be great, i have looked for one with not much sucsess paul.
  2. my n12, even though Fwd, is the same, turns heaps better when on the power (not too much though, wheel spin will cause problems)

  6. yes finally, i just picked up some peugot rotors and a set of silvia callipers today, going to start making adapter plates on Monday, its going to be good to actually work on the car again, it's been a few months now. Having no license will really get you down. Thankgod i've finally got it back now. :D
  7. yeah you have to be real careful with 7m's, they push gaskets out like they were never there
  8. hoppers stoppers in melbourne have really big brake kits for corollas but i warn they aren't cheep

  10. just take it to a roadworthy acredited exhaust shop, they can test it, if it s legal you can keep it if ain't fix it. you can always clutch in as you go past his place, my pulsar is like 5 db over the limit and have never had a complaint, and i don't exactly cuise around. you'll find the rpm's are different for some cars, me pulsar is at 4000rpm.

  12. i think the vn v6 only made 121kw, the vs made something around the 140kw mark, the vy only makes 170, the vs was a different engine than the vn (not huge amounts but small improvements) the vs to vy engines are basicly the same
  13. to fix the old cooler, depending on the damage, you can use a small knife to bend the fins straight, i had to do it to my cooler on my pulsar, just takes patience :hammer:
  14. yeah it doesn't take much, ive got a non water cooled et, which now has a t25, so i had to put water lines in for that. if your've got basic mechinical skills the whole job shouldn't be that hard, just get someone to do the tuning for you.
  15. i saw a ke20 at easternats, it had a modified sr in it, does tens or something outragess like that, there was a small artical in fast fours about it aswell. i think it could be over the limit, mate of mine was thinking of putting a 13bt in a ke55 but they said he'd have to get the custom car engineering for it(where talk around 10 grand for that shit), and to do that the car has to be equal or above the saftey standards of a brand new car.
  16. only early leaded ET s came without water cooling (low mount turbo) and the the later unleaded ones came with the high mount water cooled turbos.

  19. sc 14, is that off the 4agze or the 1ggze? and do you need to run a supercharger like a airconditioner sort of set up?
  20. is it possible for to get a photo of the new shifter hole (or just the carpeted tunnel) and under the car at the gearbox cross member, i've got photos and info of all the engine stuff everone leaves out the gear box part this would help me a great deal
  21. yeah ben thinking of doing that aswell, but i don't know if i'm going to keep that tacho, doesn't quite go high enough for my Ca18, can't wait for that 7500 redline. :hmm:
  22. sort of, we bought the whole new front struts of rxstephen, ther pedders super lows with some light -cough- cutting -cough-, he probly took about a centremeter to much the back has two leaves fliped, and is now riding on the bumpstops, suprizingly the ride isn't bad

  25. thanks, its amazing what a piece of pvc pipe and some motorvation to cover the old radio hole will do, i'll second the celica dash, there pretty cool
