    Doors

i have a feeling that the van shares a door with the 2 door sadan. not to be confused witha hard top/coupe as they have framless windows. get a tape messure and find out
  5. come to the dark side people, you now you want to i like the toyota don't get me wrong, theres just something withe the front that just doesn't quite sit right for me r33 was a turd, they know it too, they came bact to the nice lines with the 34's tho ( I'm my opinion)
  6. have you got any cold start or idle controllers on it, as when i got my ca18 in they were cusing problems left right and centre, when i unpluged them it started
  7. haha, i'd like to see that, a 930ci in a march hehe
  8. what he said, 20 rev harder so they flow more, also it's a good mod for a 4agze, so kill two birds one stone
  9. 3.5 twin turbo v6 is much more apealing. i don't like the front bar on it tho, looks like they've got 16 triangle pieces of paper, randomly stuck them on a page and gone, presto, thats what the front will look like
  10. you'd be better running a sc14 off the 1ggze.
  11. dyno beast for sure, not my cup of tea, i'm thinking the bit that flew out was maybe the turbo gasket? i'm sur that would be one hell of a thing to see in the steel
  12. very nice indeed
  13. autobarn also sell universal fuel tank sender units, there not to dear if i remember correctly
  14. lol, pitty that by the time he makes it, he needs to change gears
  15. but the 4agte will go crap loads harder obviously, twin cam ftw!! I'm going a ca18 in my 55, but a 4age would be better for a 70, and it keeps it in the family ae7-'s have a 4a-c, so you can use one of there crossmembers to bolt the engine in, makes things easier
  16. 2.5inch from turbo is all you will need, single mufler, not a cannon (this is up to you but it just wouln't be right foer a ke10, loud too)
  17. there also ther so the don't over boost aswell!! mine has been sealed up :jamie:
  18. been working on the car a fair bit lately, being holidays and that fact that work has been screwing me on shifts, makes for a bit more time to the old girl. got the second fuel line under the car and the pumps and surge tank hooked up. wired them up the other day and cleaned the lines out, yuk!! also thought it would be a good idea to change the old rubber hose that is uder the car that jions the line in the boot to the line under the car, just aswell i did as when i got underr there i noticed that there was a same line running dwn about half its length, pressed the line and got a face full of fuel, turned out to be split. lucky!! made a few hose bracket things to clean the spaggetti of fuel line in the boot, came up nice. and also made a cover for the spare tire. ran out of things to do on the conversion side of things today, until i get the mounts welded properly so, i fixed some rust in the boot lid, think i might go some other spots on the car tomorrow.
  19. go bigger, at least 14's, 15's to be safe, will look shit hot then
  20. just you pricks wait till my rolla is a "twinky", your all f@$ked!!!! :sighs: man i hope the rolla will be fast, i'm sick of shity nissans breaking down, ooh crap!!!
  21. apprantly you can get the nasp one here in aus, but it has a windscreen as ADR laws and the like require that all cars have one!! i want one bad!!!
  22. there are vacuum tank things that you can get for turbo cars to mack sure that there is vacuum in the booster more often. works buy useing one way valves and the like, still uses manifold vac, but holds the vac for when jump on the brakes.
  23. yeah don't think ill be able to come up with a grand for the new box, and i think that money would be better spent on getting the rolla on the road. things are getting closer on the rolla, running out of things to do on it, i'll be finishing the fuel system tomorrow and that will be almost as much as i can do, have to get the mounts welded up and then it the engine goes back in and it goes off to workshops for the rest ill be taging along in my mates beemer for the cruze i think!
  24. i'm the same, love building them, then experiencing the improvements, makes me proud of my work. my aunty hassels me on the money i spend on the things i do, but what else have i got to spend money on :)
  25. looks like th pulsar wont be making it on the cruze, the gearbox blew on me yesterday, only got the prick of a thing going on friday, think i cruched a bearing somewhere. :) this has just given me the motorvation to get the rolla on the road, no way i'm spending $1000 on a new gearbox every 10,000km's.
