  1. Bought a new KE70 today. Its beige with late model front. Its got a locker, cut springs, tacho dash and twin upswept tip :D Oh and the best part hardly any rust, just a little bit in the tyre well. Paid 400 for it and it came with loads of stockys and tyres. A few hard old 155s to help the 4K slide ;) Few problems are cracked windscreen and a pretty mangled r/h/f guard. but ive got the parts to replace these on my old sev. Plans for it are firstly tidy it up and do a bit of suspension work, then either my 4K Turbs setup or a 16v. Ill get pics up tomorrow, when i get it home.
  2. Goes good, has a bit more torque than a 3K/4K. Perfect cheap engine for a daily, would go excellent with a few mods like cam, carbs etc. But at least now ive got a reliable engine for my daily and i don't have to flat foot it everywhere and leave clouds of smoke like in the 3K  Thanks for supplying the engine  Cheers, Rob
  3. But its missing a turbo :D . All exhaust leaks are now fixed thanks to D and T Performance, I highly reccomend them to anyone in Adelaide, go to the one in Salisbury on Commercial Road, good prices and they do a really good job. More pics, (A few random) The old oily 3K Pup helping out
  4. Engine when i got it: Exhaust, underdiff ftw:

  7. If its popping flames through the carby it will be a timing problem.

  11. I got a press :P , ill ask pedders for a price for you tommorow, cause i work next door. :hmm:
  12. The stock pump is ideal for your setup, i recommend you use it and put a kit through your carby and and a new needle and seat. :P
  13. The mechanical pump on a K Series Delivery pressure-nominal is 25 kpa which is around 3.5 psi. Should be about the same on the 4A, so thats the right pressure for the carby. Id be more concerned with gaskets and the needle and seat before worrying about the fuel pump.
  14. ^^^ :) Sounds alot like the 3K in my KE25
  15. I remember seeing the KE15 at the last classic, was a beast of a car. Good luck with the new one. :) Cheers, Rob
