  1. Heres the box i have to work with. The 32/36 only just fits inside :y:
  2. exhaust isnt done yet, had to give the part of the crossmember where the engine mount bolts on a few taps so the j-pipe would fit. I'm thinking about making my own box out of sheet metal, but ill see what i can find at the wreckers first. Cheers, Rob
  3. Getting There...... :ninja:
  4. Can you select gears without engine running? What does the clutch pedal feel like when you push it?

  6. This is a good excuse to boost the rolla :hmm: I thought i noticed an exhaust leak a couple of days ago, then i was driving down the road shifted into second and BANG there gos the exhaust :ninja:
  7. TBI is basically a downdraft carby but fuel delivery is computer controlled. The falcon TBI would be perfect for a Turbo K series seeing as it doesnt have a float bowl and you can run decent fuel pressure. Used with a decent computer, it woul be much better than most downdraft carbys especially if your going turbo. Theres nothing wrong with the coil packs on EFs, i don't know why Ford went back to the dissy on the EL. "CFI" i thought it was called CPI Centre Point Injection.
  8. UPDATE Car is now manual, its got the KE70 K40 that was in my KE55 in it, Goes much better than the 2 speed auto :( . For anyone doing this conversion: NOTE - Auto and manual tailshafts in KE2X are the same and so are Crossmembers and Speedo cables. - Late model gearboxes (KE70) have one bolt hole that doesnt line up with 3Ks. - KE7x Shifter position almost lines up with the auto tunnel hole, but you still need to cut a bit, KE2X shifter position you will definitely have to cut a new hole. - If using KE7X extension housing you need to drill 2 new holes in crossmember for gbox mount. Did i mention, i really hate putting pedal boxes in :( wtf KE2X wiper motors are bolted on top of pedal box :'( Cheers, Rob
  9. Falcon TBI use the same mounting stud pattern as the earlier webers. This is also the same as 32/36 etc, so if youve got an adaptor you can fit it to a K series manifold, youll probably need an aftermarket fuel only computer.
  10. :'( I can't wait. New setup looks sweet :( Cheers, Rob

  14. Have a read through this - http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...mp;hl=4KC+TURBO Theres a good setup on page 2 A J-Pipe would be a lot easier to make than a custom manifold, it also mounts the turbo up higher which is easier for oil/coolant lines.
