  1. Fit the dissy at tdc and then adjust with timing light :)
  2. You can run the booster vac line to the original spot as it has a check valve in it, and your manifold will supply vaccum at idle.
  3. New car looks tuff as, love those flares :)
  4. Use loads of rubber grease (do not use normal grease). And use little picks to guide it on, or a really small screwdriver that you can put a bend in. Good Luck :)
  5. Most rust is from the wheel arches back, the back of mine is nearly falling off :)
  6. FE - HR Holdens rock :)

Spotted a marone ke25 in salisbury at about 2:00 today. Anyone on here?
  11. I ran the car today with no boost because i don't have my fuel pump yet. Everything is good except the oil return is leaking a little bit :) , so now I'm gonna pull the engine out and do the return less dodgy, I'm really pissed off :y: The turbo sounds awesome though.
  12. I'm pretty sure you can use 2s mounts and stuff to put a 3sgte in.
  13. UPDATE: Everything is done, just waiting for fuel pump. Then all i have to do is fit it and wire it up. Note: not my hairy arm :D Tomorrow I'm going to cut the front springs a little bit more to match the rear. And weld the diff :)
  14. Check this flare out :D And NO i did not pay for that blue bend, i found it on the side of the road :)
  15. Thanks for the picture, i ended up buying a junction box. Cheers, Rob
  16. All thats left is: Fuel pump Relocate battery and a bit of wiring bit of piping and bov (most of thats done now) cooler wont be on to start with, but will be on shortly after. Exhaust probly gonna just go 2" straight thru from dump with one resonator. And just a few other bits and pieces. :D
  17. Pics not working, sounds good though :D
  18. I had some nice oil fires going, while i was welding the oil return on :D lucky i had my fire extinguisher.
  19. Finished Product Inside with bit to line rods up Oil return R33 Intercooler might be on soon :D Cheers, Rob
  20. i sold a 3k head to a guy and he did exactly what you did. the head face is lower so when you bolt it up and put the rocker gear on, the valves are held open causing no :y: compression. Cheers, Rob
  21. ^^^ So what happens when you go to change gear? Does it crunch? or does the stick not move?
  22. Did you readjust your tappets? Did you do anything with the valves? Did the head come of an engine that you know was running? Cheers, Rob
  23. The only difference between the two cars is the trans tunnel, youll have to cut a new shifter hole in both cars. You also may need to swap radiators depending whether the manual car has a trans cooler, alternatively you could use an air cooled transcooler. Cheers, Rob
  24. if its really tight use a puller.
