No worries bud. Jip has 9 left I think. I'll take 2x, and I've gotta give one to Sutton, so that 5x left (after Sturgey takes one) for everybody else. First in best dressed on whats left sorry guys!!!
-
Could I please get you to hold the 8x for me for like 24-48 hours John? Just trying to find out who has already ordered there own, and how many more I should get. Cheers, Si.
-
Need to know ASAP, how many of you have already ordered calendars directly off Jip? At the time of typing this there is 8 left! Do you all just want me to get the lot and diustribute to you? REPEAT, Need to know ASAP.
-
Oh shit, just realised that this is where you're selling them John!!! 4x questions for you: 1, How many Tassie members have bought/paid for calendars? 2, Do you still have 9 left? 3, Can I get all of them pending answer to question 1? 4, how much are they each?
-
Yeah I can check it out for you. Could grab a CM at the same time? If the pullies are different we could just re-mark a new timing mark on the pully you want to use.
-
Just swap the whole front pulley'f from motor to motor. All it will effectively do is turn your water pump and alternator a bit quicker.

Yeah but the 2JZ is hardly breaking a sweat at 500hp! A 4agte will be working its arse off to make that much power!!

haha nice save soyboy. ------>

Use the formulas Kryton brown posted and work it out!

4k Not Running Right After Mechanic Does A Service On It
Taz_Rx replied to trav_555's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Yes mechanic will know. Just thought it might be worth a try befor finding/fitting a resistor. If you pull you dizzy cap off, you notice the is a little magnet that lines up with the 4x tags on the main shaft. the gap between these tags and the little magnet I speak of is the "air gap". You adjust it just like points. -
The "random vacuum line" to the ECU is for the internal MAP sensor (so the ECU knows how much boost you're running). It must stilol be using the stock (vacuum reference) FPR. Ok, so you know where the fuel comes into the rail, there should be a return line coming off the other end of the fuel rail. This should come through a little solenoid looking thing with a vacuum line to it - this is the stock FPR. You need to remove it and replace with something like this.... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SARD-Fuel-Pressure-...A1%7C240%3A1318 and run a hose to your new RR FPR, then back via the same return line.
-
No you don't have to, but its probably a lot easier that way. :jamie:
-
Yes you should be. Take a pic of the thing you're talking about and we can identify it. Actually does it have a vacuum/boost line attached to it?

4k Not Running Right After Mechanic Does A Service On It

Used to have this problem a long time ago. Was points being too close together and spark jumping. Electronic dizzies still have something to adjust called an "air gap" on the magnetic pickup, try opening this up just slightly and see if the tacho get any better befor you head off to DS. :jamie: -
Well just spent about the last 3 and half hours cleaning the new zuk. I have dicided that the guy who owned it befor me was a disgusting pic with no sense of personal hygene, and I highly doubt he every washed, vacuumed or Armoralled it the whole time he owned it. :jamie: I gave the outside a good was, cleaned the engine bay up a bit, vacuum and wiped/scubber/armoralled the interior, cleaned all of the glass, evicted about 50 spiders! - Seriously you should have seen them all come out when I first spayed the car!! :no2: Anyway, here's a couple of piccies... Befor ...and after Befor ...and after Still need to do a bit more cleaning (might pull the seats *and bungs*) out and get in the cab with a bucket of soapy water - yes it is that bad! And obviuously get a set of seat covers, then I'll be a bit happier.
-
I've got some S13 silvia seats in my '55. Picked them up for like $80 when a mate upgraded. They're a bit more supportive, but not to the point of be uncomfortable, were really easy to fit and find, and being from a 4 seat/2 door car would be ideal for a '55 coupe as they fold forward. Just a sugestion. :jamie:

Hey, welcome to rollaclub. Neat little rolla you have there. :no2: Whats the other beast hiding behind it? :jamie:
-
Update: The old one didn't sell, guy called me like a day after I told the other guy I'd buy his but not worried about that..... ....because I picked this up on Friday!! :jamie: Its actually a 94 model with the Mugato (SP?) 1000cc motor. But jeez its slow! Think I might really have to chuck the 7k and w50 in real soon. :no2: I think I did pretty well for $1300 considering its still got rego till June!! Apart from its sluggishness its pretty good. Basically no rust in the body or chassis. Needs a good clean up, which I should get to today and I'll take some more piccies. In the mean time I'm trying to find some good, reliable info on how to do the usual K into a sierra conversion if anybody knows where I can find it? Leigh?
-
Nah the ECU just needs to trigger the relay for the fuel pumps to turn on. Fuel regulator controls the pressure and the ECU just fires the injectors.

Sweet, looks pretty tidy! Cya in a couple of hours. :)
