  1. Yes just swap the dizzy, water pump and alternator over to the 5k. Just pull the dizzy out befor removing the motor and sit it on the guard. Just make sure its not 180o out when re-fitting.
  2. K's don't really need oil coolers,...until you start pushing lots of power out of them or by heating the oil with other means, ie turbo. You can get an adapter plate which screws on under your oil filter, the one I have pictured below also has an inbuilt thermostat.
  3. Depends if it was Rory's 4AGZE (the slut '55) or Paul's (rolla13bt's) car. Did its sound 'brappy' or just 'crappy'? :P
  4. Your enthausiasum to work on your car is good to see,.......but for f@$ks sake Myles if you can't work out how to remove a set of brake pads then get somebody who knows what they're doing (like a mechanic) to do it for you befor you kill yourself, and possibly somebody else on the road. :P For what its worth you actually have the sumitomo calipers that can have the pads changed without the caliper removed. And buy that bloody haynes manual. ;)
  5. Yes its a Camry.......you're confused cause its a FWD majorly sideways aren't you?
  6. Knowledge Base/FAQ > K series, general information > Gearboxes. :y:
  7. The wrap-arounds have a little bracket at the ends that attach to the side of the guard. Don't think cars that came with the shorter ones even have a hole for them either so you'll have to drill some.
  8. They're going to look even tougher on my car!! :)
  9. Front ones are easy to get out with a screw driver. You'll destroy it, but you're replacing it anyway so who cares.
  10. I run 28o max timing while on boost. We put 32o in it on the dyno, didn't knock just made less power! ;) - That was on 10psi BTW. What are you running in the way of ignition actually? Just a locked or re-graph dizzy? Keen to see the dyno chart! :D
  11. T'would help if he had a licence. ;)
  12. Long time no see! Merry Xmas Sheldon :D
  13. Yeah Jerry wrote most of the songs,.... well the better ones IMHO anyway. Lane wrote some of the songs like "Angry Chair".....and you can tell  . Awesome singer but!!! ;) Suppose it's really suprising he lasted as long as he did!!! Should have died in his prime like Curt. ....speaking of which, Its a bloody wonder Scott Weiland is still alive to! ;) Can't wait for any new material! :D and for the kiddies who have never really heard AIC.... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=qCdx--nsyjc One of my favourite songs.... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=scCxx4fgJwA&...feature=related
  14. Did she pop? Congratulations if so! :D ....and merry Xmas. ;)
  15. Cool. Daim and Mark both want one each so thats 2x left that I'll have. Think Casey might have wanted one aswell??? so maybe 1x.
  16. He was just trying to clear up something that you said you didn't undertsand!! Plus they are trying to give you added advice on what you've asked. Getting a guage itself to work properly is one thing, but if the sender isn't setup up correctly (ie have sufficient water around it) then the guage is never going to work properly!
  17. Yeah don't just get 1x muffler or 1x hot-dog. :) Get both!! :y:
  18. Just thought I'd double check - Your door handle plastics are black anyway!! :)
  19. Ah NO. Stock S4 wheels are 16" not 14".
  20. Keep us posted on how long the new turbo lasts. Did you ever question the low purchase price for a "brand new turbo"?
  21. ALSO, This is a ke70 right!? Wonder why it has ke30 style Sumitomo calipers instead of the girlocks like our ADM ke70's!? :)
  22. Pins only locate the pads in the caliper. Though if its that bad, might not hurt to remove them (and the pads) just incase they're all groved and binding up.
  23. Just run dual vacuum guages!
  24. Sorry for the offtopic'ness, but speaking of Giraffes did anybody see that one give birth last night on TV!? Poor little guy came into the world as he dropped at least 2 metre from "mum" and landed in a bloody heap.
  25. Ok, John is charging me $21.125 each INCLUDING postage. They will be available for $20 each (I'll just wear the postage cost), pickup from my place, or from downstairs if pre-aranged. Will let you all know when I have them.
